‼️BREAKING SCOOP‼️
Big Y has announced plans to open a new store location in FARMINGTON at the Westfarms Mall.
A brand new store will be constructed on the southern side of the Westfarms property.
The store will be roughly 53,000 square feet, and according to the press release is slated to open in the spring of 2027.
Big Y is independently-owned, and has supermarket locations throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts.

🚨 SCOOP ALERT 🚨

A bittersweet update from one of Canton’s longtime favorites, Applegate Farm Market. Their building has been sold and their lease will end at the close of this year.

Don’t worry…they will remain open through November 30 (closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday), so there’s still time to grab your favorite pies, cider donuts, and all the goodies we love.

The good news? Applegate Farms has a plan in the works for a new chapter (and yes, their famous apple cider donuts and CSA program will definitely be part of it!).

Stay tuned for what’s next. In the meantime, stop by to show your support and stock up one more time.

1️⃣ Hoffman Auto Group has announced that Genesis of Avon has replaced the current Hoffman Nissan in WEST SIMSBURY. This is the first Genesis dealership in Greater Hartford.
2️⃣ Opening this Fall, Char•cu•te•rie, where "sophistication meats elegance" at the Blue Back Square in WEST HARTFORD. Char•cu•te•rie will take reservations for guests to enjoy their charcuterie at their lounge. Charcuterie boards are also available for pick-up and local delivery.
3️⃣ Expansion construction has begun at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in SIMSBURY. Stay tuned for progress reports.
4️⃣ We're hearing that there is interest in repurposing the old Best Cleaners at 1684 Farmington Ave. in FARMINGTON into a new laundromat to be open seven days
