✨gorjana will add their second Connecticut location to the upper level of the mall near Center court THIS SUMMER.

They are a Laguna Beach based jewelry brand known for accessible and interchangeable pieces.

✨Zumiez will OPEN THIS SUMMER in the Nordstrom wing.

The retailer offers popular streetwear brands including Affliction, Ed Hardy, Empyre, FB County, Von Dutch, and Plan B skateboards.

The Friends Learning Center is moving to 44 West Main Street Avon this summer.
They have been operating at 395 West Avon Road for the past three years. The Learning Center is for children aged 3 to 5.

Small classes with 4-5 children per class for individualized attention/tutoring to help with literacy skills – each class is for a two-hour time period.
Let's welcome them to the Avon Village Center!

Bareburger is coming to Avon.

The unique burger joint will takeover space at 380 West Main Street (Route 44).

The chain has been expanding most recently opening a location in Glastonbury at the Shops at Somerset.

They offer an eclectic menu of grass fed, vegan, build your own, and unique burgers.

They are aiming to OPEN late 2025/early 2026.

There is an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant coming to Avon in the old Beanz & Co. location at 300 West Main Street.

A husband and wife who ran a successful sushi restaurant in Hamden recently received approval for the restaurant.

They don't have a name or an open date yet, but we will keep you posted.

Shake Shack will no longer be going into the new commercial development planned for 275 and 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon.

There was a management change at Shake Shack and they could not come to an agreement about the new location.

The property owner is still looking to bring in a restaurant or medical office.

We are hearing the Michaels jewelers may be coming to Avon!

The Carpionato Group, which owns the Whole Foods Plaza (Avon Village Center), posted this in an online document promoting the development.

It shows Michaels Jewelers potentially taking over the end cap in the first building on the left as you drive in the entrance.

We are working on this and will give updates as they come.

We love a good comeback—and this one’s extra special!

The Home Place has found a new home in Canton (220 Albany Tpk across from Applegate Farm), after years in New Hartford, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The shop is full of charm, cozy corners, and things you didn’t know you needed—but honestly, the best part might just be the warm welcome you get the second you walk in.

Let’s just say… we think it’s going to be a regular stop!
