An awesome mobile diesel mechanic came to the rescue and we got back on the road quickly. It wasn’t anything too serious...

An awesome mobile diesel mechanic came to the rescue and we got back on the road quickly. It wasn’t anything too serious, our coolant hose came loose and needed a new clamp. We lost around 4 gallons of coolant so that also needed to be replaced. Now we are at our destination for the night and ready to relax.

We are experiencing our first bump in the road on our cross country trip. Looks like our coolant pipe is busted where it connects to the rig. Waiting for a Mobil diesel mechanic now.. hope it’s not too bad, we are in the middle of the desert.

We are staying at Everglades National Park for two weeks. It’s pure wilderness with no cell service, but Starlink works very well. We have Starlink’s bypass mode enabled and used a TP-Link router to hardwire all connections. We even use our mobile with an Ethernet cable—no WiFi at all. It works excellently. Thank you, Starlink! It’s a game changer.

We’re officially nomads🙂. We have Starlink, Verizon 5G home plus, and Verizon mobile hotspots for connectivity. We have been wanting to do this for a long time, and finally, our dream has come true. Now we can relax and visit the places we always wanted to see, taking our home with us. Our plan is to go completely off-grid with a full solar setup.
