The Kombi was a hit at music festivals in the 60s. It made it to Woodstock, and back. Meeting a few friendly faces along the way. It graced album covers alongside Bob Dylan and The Beach Boys. And it became the ultimate symbol of the road trip. The Kombi was and still is the van for people without a plan. With the perfect amount of space to invite your friends along for an adventure.

The plan was a singular exhaust system. However, while we were busy mig welding the puzzle pieces around the cross member, an enlightenment elf dropped the idea💡 of running dual ci**rs!

In the sixties, so I hear.... Christmas wasn't the only time you'd get gifts and delights.
So we indulged Tatianna's sweet tooth with some eye candy, DOT approved, jeep resilience tested 7" RGB headlights with 4" RGB foglights to match. Under this tree are;
🎄 RGB 16 Million colors
🎄 Music Mode
🎄 15 scene(sherehe) modes
🎄 Timing function
🎄 Bluetooth connectivity

And being the cougar she is, we dropped in a smart Rear view mirror with a dash cam(4K) and rear camera(1080p)

Frayed cables, loosened connectors, missing links...
Out with the old wiring harness and the archaic fuse box. We are bringing her internals to the 21st century, picture having a hoverboard in the sixties 👌

The soda is cooling for Tatianna's mechanic, me..
She on the other hand gets to gobble down 15 litres of coolant (to prime her internals further before we let her run longer) , for her water cooled conversion.
Air cooling now remains a reserve for her occupants as we have no AC at present 😂😂

Today we tested for leaks on the lines hoses and radiator side, tomorrow we pressurise the system - fingers crossed 🤞
