Better Than Sliced Bread was established in 2007 by SUB ry, the student organi

sation for students of English at the University of Helsinki. SUB wanted to reincarnate their long-dead newspaper and set up a team of people to coordinate the effort. However, as the Internet is the main stream medium these days and as blogging is the weapon of choice for communication and publication, the editing staff decided they wanted a piece of that cake too.

Hello and a wondrous, once-again-wintry (where did all this snow suddenly come from?) Wednesday to you, my wily wanderers!

It's easy to tell someone to get over it. To just forget. Move on. Stop dwelling on it and so forth. But to feel excluded, unwanted, forgotten- getting over those things is a whole other thing, one which Robi explains with bittersweet accuracy.
