Fatal knife crime took place at Westminster in London.

A man in his 20s has been stabbed to death in broad daylight this afternoon (Monday, November 28). He was one of two men knifed in the street, with the other being rushed to a major trauma centre.

The Met Police and London Ambulance Service paramedics were called to Lilestone Street, Marylebone, just before 3.30pm. A video seen by MyLondon, which we are not publishing, appears to show CPR being performed on one of the victims in a desperate attempt to save their life.

Police have now launched a murder investigation after the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers are working to identify him and inform his next of kin.

The second man, whose age is not yet known, is still in hospital, with no further update on his condition available yet. No arrests have been made.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.23pm today (November 28) to reports of a stabbing on Lilestone Street, City of Westminster. We treated two patients at the scene and took one person to a major trauma centre. Sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a person died at the scene.“

Today's tragedy follows a shocking weekend of violence across London. Reece Newcombe, 31, who had recently become a dad, died after a fight on Richmond Bridge in which he is believed to have been stabbed with a piece of broken glass.

And two 16-year-old boys died a mile apart in Greenwich in attacks that are being linked by the Met Police. They have been named as Kearne Solanke and Charlie Bartolo with the two murdered boys being found on Saturday afternoon at the same time, one in Thamesmead and the other in Abbey Wood. There have also been two other double stabbings - after a fight in Thornton Heath and an attack in Forest Gate.

A man was also stabbed in the head in Bethnal Green, while another victim was shot in Brixton and a woman was r***d on Highbury Fields. For today's Marylebone double stabbing MyLondon has contacted the Metropolitan Police for more information.
