Who’s up for a field trip to South Africa next NYE? This was hands down one of the best experiences that I’ve had in the past 28 years of djing. The party was fantastic and the people on the dance floor were next level - no f***s given!!!!!

Wow, that was an interesting weekend filled with silliness and debauchery, to say I had a lot of fun was an understatement - one of the best weekends this year. I will be back next year Psybercell @ Maui Waui and Maui Waui Festival 2023. I know WILKOCK and the Kockettes (big rubber chicken and his small family brothers and sisters - all 7 of them).

I had absolutely no idea what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised and amazed at the energy on the dance floor during my set - one of the best I’ve had the pleasure of playing to. I’ve been told the tent was fairly busy, all I could see were bright lights and people havin’ it with smiling faces - that’s all I could ever ask for.

Thank you so much to all the crew and my Norfork family - I love you all very much and hope to see you this weekend. We’re a bit low on chickens (they all found new how’s with the children of our crew - i did ask the parents first). All is not lost, another one arrived in the post today! Don’t think we’ll be closing down the stage like last weekend.

For those that were there I apologise (I wasn’t completely sober when we came up with the idea and by the time it wore off I had already listened to about 200 of the tunes and selected over 30 for a shortlist) - 6 minutes of screaming chickens singing happy birthday to Maui Waui along with a medley of cheesy songs might have been too much. I can confidently say I don’t think it’s been done before or likely to again.

To those that missed it, you might consider yourself lucky. I’m been having flash backs since Sunday. There is video, lots of video, because I’ve never seen so many phones pointing at me on stage.

I hope to see you all very soon - I‘m playing PSYMERA Presents Our 8th Birthday The Ultimate Psy Trance Festival Weekender this coming weekend and Goa Cream a couple of weeks after.

PS: I could really do with your help. If you have any video of my set (2nd to last Fri night - 23.15-00.45 I would really appreciate copies - as high resolution as possible as I need to make a promo video.

Now I’m going to regret saying this but we want to do a video of the last tune on Sunday night. The chap who did the tunes has over 1.25m followers on TikTok and Instagram. I think this might have the potential to go viral so it would be fantastic opportunity to spread the chicken love and go FULL CHICKEN!!!!

If you come next year perhaps bring one with you, it would be hilarious to see a festival full of chickens. We need to outdo this year!!
