Sacris ritus Vermes presents a new single, Tenebris Vacuum; raw mix that serves as an advance to the second EP, with Burning Devotion. Check it out on Bandcamp.

There will be a very limited cassette of this advance, which will also feature a Katharsis cover. But, be warned, the cover is a home recording conjured during the midnight hours after a graveyard expedition; a very raw homage to the legends of German black metal and their legacy of diabolical madness. The cover will also be available for download for those who pre order the tape.

The cassette can be preordered on Bandcamp, expect it by August. Strictly limited to 50 units, €9 plus shipping.

Tenebris Vacuum, although slower and more atmospheric than the other tracks of said EP, bears the message of Sacris ritus Vermes loud and clear: putrid Satanic devotion.

DR - XVIII

Sühnopfer - Nous sommes d’hier, the last opus brought by Ardraos, presents an iron fist of nostalgia, melancholy, and proud hymns for the France of old.

We are aware that this release may not be for everyone, and although 99% of the time, medieval inspired black metal makes me want to throw myself into an oubliette, Sühnopfer manages to do it right; no cosplaying, no LotR inspired wet dreams, no basement brewed nerdiness. The ghosts from the past rise!

For some time I had wanted a raw, blasphemous, violent, and devoid of all pretentiousness release under our mark; so here comes this conjuration of straight to the bone black metal.

Out of the bowels of Southern Germany, six tracks of pure aggression and utter despise for sanctity; there’s no higher message to be found in these lines, but plain and simple Satanic hatred.

Sacris Ritus Vermes - with Sacred Horror
EP MMXXIV

In clandestine alliance with Ars Negative, we release into the physical plane this cursed yet visceral and intense black sonority enhanced with 3 completely new tracks, plus and old track enriched with A. from on vocal duties.

In the words of the band, the A side represents the current ambitions and direction of the following works, while the B side features an old hymn of fervent praise that aligns more with the early days. The three tracks were powered by the mastery of on the drums, ’s liturgical organs, and ’s mortuary vociferations as a guest in “Communio Mortis”. We hail you all, with fervent hearts!

Conceived during sessions of wandering around forgotten cemeteries and diving into the deepest unconsciousness, this opus was recorded in four different countries around Europe by devoted souls, opening a new dimension for what Sacris ritus Vermes stand for, Black Metal of Death.

I remember saying that after a busy 2023, we’d have a lazy and slow 2024. We have successfully failed at it, and things keep accumulating.

Sacris ritus Vermes’ long delayed “with Sacred Horror” cassette is here, wait for Friday. Vinyl has been on production for months, but you know how it is with short runs, vae victis!

Next releases for summer will be a split, which will fulfill a long lasting desire of mine to have raw, blasphemous, street-like-violent black metal under our banner.

We are also working on the Celestial Bloodshed vinyl, plus merch. Sorhin, as announced, will also happen in the following months. And a French band will make an appearance too under our mortuary mark. And who knows what else may happen, but a few things are brewing.

BLACK METAL of DEATH

Sacris ritus Vermes has been a cursed entity since its inception, and probably that fate will never change. That means, the EP “with Sacred Horror” is as delayed as anything can be. The idea was to retain the tapes until the vinyl is here, yet probably we will have to do the tapes and cross our fingers for the vinyl to arrive at its own time.

Both formats, cassette and 12”, have been paid long ago. And still, both while made at different factories, have encountered every single problem you can think of. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

A. of did vocals for one of the demo tracks, which will be a bonus in the cassette version. Shall we upload it? Keep an eye out on our YouTube and something may happen tomorrow.

I have listened to the EP once again today, and credit where credit is due, did an outstanding job on the drums, to the point that it pushed the whole work forward. Also, who materialized the vision of a sinister liturgy with the organs, and of course, the death devoted of who crowned “Communio Mortis” with his guest vocals.

Proud to announce that the fires have been ignited, and Apokalypsens Ängel will be released as tape for the first time. Sorhin was one of the bands that shaped my vision when still a teenager, and for me, one of Sweden’s finest to this day.

Although too late to post the usual promotional pictures, here they are. Still a bit shocked that copies sold out in less than 5 days. Very few last ones available at [email protected]

White cassette housed in black cardboard slipcase, with metallic golden ink (see that shine on the first picture!). This EP has polarized most, some regard it as an awful piece and unlistenable mess; while others have seen its uniqueness amidst the filth and rancid stench it emanates. In any case, more is coming and with some luck, we should see new material before this year ends.

Hæksenhamer’s EP has been uploaded in its entirely to our YouTube channel, plus we added the bonus track that’s not included in our release. May this serve as a cautionary tale about the ill effects of intoxication, and why it’s a bad idea to do cover rehearsals.

And last night, shortly before midnight, the recordings for new material have officially started. A promo tape will come, you may want to keep an eye out on their bandcamp if such things are of any interest to you.

We are replying to your messages as soon as possible, but if you haven’t received a response yet, please be patient, we will get back to you soon.

Thanks to everyone who has given their time and attention to this manifestation; we are very much aware that cassette is not the easiest format to support, and also we know that bands like this are not the easiest to digest.

Two new titles are out, underground black metal soaked in blood and 90’s devotion.

Triumphal Vengeance delivers an extremely epic, raw, and medieval storm, full of atmosphere, victorious riffs, and heroic chants hailing from the past. If you’ve got any doubts, we do recommend you to check out their promo track on YouTube.

Hæksenhamer summons spiritual pestilence, filth, and intoxicating devil worship; an assault of rancid metal. Bringing riffs that evoke the old French and Swedish glories, yet distorting them into their own hostile sound, this is black metal devoid of any beauty.

Now comes the bad news, Sacris ritus Vermes was in this same batch, but because some manifestations are curses in its very real meaning, it’s the one release that suffered delays.

And, since we’ve opened the Scandinavian chapter to make it easier for those in Northern Europe; we won’t start shipping until the cassettes reach Trondheim. You can still order if you’re patient to wait until we are ready to ship.

A few answers to some general questions about the Sacris ritus Vermes promo tapes:

- They were available to be ordered via Bandcamp, only manufactured for those who ordered, either there or directly. No leftovers made, therefore they’re practically sold out.

- A new promo tape will be made. A new EP has already been recorded, a Katharsis cover will be included as a promo tape only track. Those who missed out on this one, may want to keep an eye on the band’s Bandcamp for the next one.

- What we mean when we said the j-cards were hand stamped, it’s literally that. No printers were used, only custom made stamps with the text and motifs.

- The t-shirt will never be reprinted again. More merch is being planned for when the vinyl is out, but this design was intended for this cassette only.

Sacris ritus Vermes - with Sacred Horror

After every possible obstacles and delays one can think of, we can finally assure that the cassette will be available in April. Vinyl is already paid and in production.

Track “Communio Mortis” has been uploaded to YouTube, a taste of what’s coming. Pay attention to the second half of the track, as our brother in arms M. of Necroracle is in charge of the vociferations. This song, and all others, count with the drumming of Omega and the organ of S. Every part involved was primordial in shaping this EP as envisioned.

On the second and third slide, promo tape featuring the raw mix of the first track of the EP. Those who ordered through Bandcamp, expect your bundle (with t-shirt) next week. This promo has been 100% homemade, all ink was hand stamped.

A work that’s difficult to describe other than intoxicating and hostile, born out the utmost desire for violence, and as an improvised studio visit under the influence of distilled spirits. Ugly, melancholic, rabid and desperate.

We’re back at work, and to open the season we bring three new releases.

First name on the list is Triumphal Vengeance, presenting its first EP “Crossing the Rubicon”. Victorious, epic, raw and evocative of the long dead past, this underground strike, brought under the direction of Nebel, is a glorification of the ancient myths and spirits of war.

Shot of Mare in Zwickau, last year. One of the few pictures I took, but didn’t include in the book, yet to me it communicates the aura of the presentation very well. After around a decade that I hadn’t seen the band live, that was probably a highlight unlikely to be matched soon.
