I love working up a sweat while throwing hay bales.👩🏼🌾Working out is ok, but WORKING outside feels productive and satisfying! I love making new friends and having good, deep conversations that feel impactful.🫶🏻 I’m very involved with my church, mom’s group and community. Opening up my case for another wedding season! My 11th season! 😲 I am looking forward to another year of working with incredible couples and vendors, learning and improving my craft while also enjoying some more family time and rest this year. What a blessing it is to be able to set my own schedule and have flexibility to take time off. Entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely the right choice for me!
This is my family. 4 kids! 🤯 I had my first baby in 2015, one year after I quit my job and went full time into wedding videography. It was NOT easy! In fact I almost gave it all up at one point because I was burnt out and completely overwhelmed with motherhood and running a business. I have learned SO much over those years- that you can’t do it all, there is a season for everything, balance isn’t attainable, how to say “no”, and that kids grow up fast. Motherhood is hard. For some people it comes so naturally, but I felt like a fish out of water. It’s been a steep learning curve but I’m truly thankful for the hard journey because it’s making me a better person. I’m learning to serve, be grateful, humble, diligent, and resilient. This is not without the people in my life. My family, friends, mentors, and of course my biggest influence: Jesus Christ. If you are struggling in this season of motherhood, please don’t do it alone. Surround yourself with people who are in it with you to relate to and those who are past this season that can encourage you that “this too shall pass”. Find a creative outlet, positive influences and rest because you can’t pour from an empty cup. Motherhood is a gift to be cherished. ❤️

2022 was an incredible year! 🎉 I had a {VERY} full year which I was so thankful for after 2 years of postponements. My clients were some of the most kind, generous and fun clients I’ve ever had and I feel exceptionally blessed this year! Also, there was not ONE wedding that rained us out... every single one saw sunshine! How incredible is that?

Looking ahead to 2023... We will be welcoming baby #4 into our family in February and we are so excited to meet him/her! I am expecting a lighter year which will allow me more family time and baby bonding 😍. With a less weddings I expect that I will have more energy and creativity that I can pour into serving those clients WELL! Protecting that energy is so important to keep from hitting burn out. I love the feeling of inspiration but I don’t get it if I’m exhausted so this next year I’m being more intentional about that.

When the photographer’s test shot becomes your pregnancy announcement 😆
4th baby gets no glory! And this was 2 months ago when my bump was way smaller! This pregnancy has been flying by and before you know it, it will be February and the baby will be here! I’m planning to have another home birth if all is well. Wedding videographer is just one of the many hats I wear and it has been quite a season of juggling all the things! I definitely don’t want to give the impression that I have it all it all together because I don’t. Balance can’t be achieved 100% of the time. There are seasons of prioritizing business and seasons of prioritizing family and this next year will be a big one for us. I’ll be filming less weddings to be home with baby more and it will also give my 2023 clients a more energized, creative filmmaker. I’m excited to see what the future holds and even more excited to meet baby #4! 👩🏼🍼

I cried so much at this wedding! Cassidy is the only child of my cousin who lost his life at only 25 years old and it’s incredible to see the journey she has been through and the beautiful redemption of her life! It is amazing to see two young people so full of Jesus’ love and hearts that are eager to go and serve wherever they are called. I couldn’t be more proud of this young lady and her husband Ian who we all have quickly fallen in love with! May God richly pour out His blessings over you in the years to come!!

Apparently I have a line. 🤓😆 But in all seriousness, a good videographer/photographer knows that most couples feel uncomfortable posing for photos so it’s our job to encourage them when they may be feeling awkward. When we are silly/goofy, it usually helps the couple to relax a little and then we get to see their real smiles. 🤩

Nathan Cuyler & Rebecca Shocket are the sweetest, most kind couple with such a positive attitude. With a year-long wedding postponement, multiple changes and day-of rain showers, Nate and Becky weren’t flustered a bit. The two of them compliment each other so well- especially their humor.
