sting off your air guitar! The best music is timeless and, even if it is from 50 (or more) years ago, it is still 'new' if YOU haven't heard it. So be prepared for selections that range from pre-release and classics, to, little heard, forgotten or overlooked tracks, handpicked from the archives. Your soundtrack, like life itself, is under constant construction and, if I can contribute a musical accompaniment to future memories, then, that would be a real privilege.

Now that ‘Ceremony’ has been out in the world for a couple of days we wanted to take the chance to thank everyone for their support on the release of this record. It’s obviously a huge milestone for us and, while being a huge physical and emotional undertaking, has been a total privilege to be able to release a piece of work that is a true reflection of who we are as a group.

When we set out to make ‘Ceremony’ we wanted to create something huge in scale, ever-changing and an honest example of how we sound when we stand together in a room and play, flaws-and-all. To be able to stand in a legendary space like Rockfield Studios where scores of world changing albums have been made to track our debut is nothing short of a childhood dream realised.

Special thanks to for producing and mixing the album, drawing the absolute best out of us all and truly making the album what it is.

Thank you also to engineer and assistant engineer for being so accommodating and giving us the best recording experience any of us have ever had.

Thanks to and for believing in us and helping us get this album out there to you all.

And an enormous thank you to all of you who have stuck with us this far. It’s only the start. X

Just about ‘accommodated’ these dudes + kit… when Chauffeuring looked more like trafficking musicians, under cover of darkness for their recent sellout gig at glasgow university union!!!

Of course, I’d be the first person to do whatever is in my power to be ‘flexible’ when it comes to but, ESPECIALLY when we have some good music chat en route to gig. So I promise to check them out and within 5mins I see that Noisy had only gone and recorded with, long time faves, Dead Pony 😊 good taste in friends …5star luxury musician-trafficking + Chauffeuring Services😘

Randolph’s Leap are a Scottish indie-pop band known for their catchy melodies, memorable lyrics and uplifting live gigs. The live experience includes brass, strings, fuzzy keyboards, bad jokes and good dancing. Over the past decade, the band have released four studio albums and countless DIY albums which have earned them a cult following. They have performed across the UK, including at major festivals such as T in the Park, Green Man, Celtic Connections, Belladrum Tartan Heart and the Edinburgh Fringe. Their music inspired a theatre show, The Isle of Love, and their most recent album, Spirit Level, captures the band at their energetic and polyphonic best.

What’s the craic here..?

Music is a precious commodity born of the craft and passion of those with the inspiration and talent to express themselves through the medium. For many, music is the soundtrack of their lives and recalling or sharing happy memories can be a cathartic experience! I aim to play music that touches the soul, lifts the spirit, soothes the mind, gets your fingers or feet tapping and may even have you dusting off your air guitar! The best music is timeless and, even if it is from 50 (or more) years ago, it is still 'new' if you haven't heard it so be prepared for selections that range from pre-release and classics, to, little heard, forgotten or overlooked tracks, handpicked from the archives. Your soundtrack, like life itself, is under constant construction and if I can contribute a musical accompaniment to future memories then that would be a real privilege.

I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember...fond teenage memories of listening to John Peel, under the covers on ‘School nights’, on the state-of-the-art, tinny, transistor radio! My love for ‘Blues n Rock’ still burns but my horizons broadened considerably at the time and, whilst it may have ‘stalled’ in early nineties, my appetite for great ‘new’ music has only grown.

Sharing what I enjoy with other music lovers is one of life’s great pleasures.

So, stay tuned x
