This station has been active since 1975, and continues to bring new music to the airwaves every day. As a multi-format non-commercial station, WMXM is one of the most diverse and honest radio stations in the country. Our goal as a station is to promote local and national music, news, and culture. We want to give a voice to those things not commonly heard and provide a unique and free listening experience only possible by college radio.
