Next vlog! Later this week I'll be publishing my next vlog from my 2023 Tokyo trip! It was a fun day in Akihabara going to maid cafes, browsing shops, visiting the the irl shrine of Nozomi from Love Live, and ending the night with karaoke 😎 I reunited with old pals and met online friends for the very furst time during this trip so there are many other faces in the vlogs with me! 🥳🎶

New vlog! Fly with my to Tokyo! This was from my super short trip last year May 2023 🤠 This is vlog #0 because ehh it's kinda boring LOL. But later this week will be the real #1 vlog of the series and I'm really looking forward to sharing it 🤩 For now, enjoy the stories of me losing my debit card, sleeping at the airport, and eavesdropping on a couple that would be good candidates for "90 Day Fiance" 😶

Slowly... I'm chipping away at editing my vlogs... from last year 🙃

Once I finish 5 consecutive vlogs, I'll schedule them to be uploaded once a week and maybe that will leave me to be uploading a new video every week until the year is over 🤣

Also the first original song... it's coming 😶 I'm not quitting, I just needed to really practice singing what I wrote a lot before properly recording.

I'm trying to schedule more karaoke livestreams again 🤔 once or twice a month would be nice. I miss interracting with the live chat the most 🥹

I feel like I keep working in a circle with nothing to show, so it's really annoying 😫

On the other hand, I've gotten the hang of a healthy personal schedule with diet and exercise 😎 I have a goal, and I am steadily getting there since I started to be serious in May.

Anyways, here's some random screenshots from my Tokyo vlog series... last year 🫠 the vlog is almost done! I really put so much effort into editing. I think there will be 4 or 5 videos total from that little trip.

Last weekend I saw Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu! They are a Japanese idol group whom you might know from the viral "suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki suki" song 🤣

I quite frankly don't know much about the group but I thought this would be too unique of an experience to pass up. I was searching on an online ticket site for ticket information about a festival in September and stumbled upon the live information for this show! I thought, hmmmm I'll wait until closer to the show date to decide to go.

A few days before the show, I checked the ticket availability and... there was one left 😳 destiny to go!

Unfortunately, the concert was so... uncomfortable LOL. I didn't position myself in the crowd to get a good standing spot because I didn't arrive early enough to the venue 😅 the stage layout was kinda weird too. A little hard to explain but to put it bluntly: I could barely see s**t 😶

I still found enjoyment within the crowd which was... 95% Japanese 🤯 at least in my section. Wow. It's so incredible to have such a dedicated following of fans who will follow your tour overseas! Well, not like Korea and Japan are far apart, but still! 😆 And the crowd seemed like 60% male 40% female, all very vocal with calls and mix! I think from an idol culture observational perspective, I learned a lot!

The girls all sang live too. After a whole HOUR of performing they did jikoshoukai (self introduction) for a few minutes emcee. Such stamina 🤩

I had to rush leaving the show to go to my friend's birthday, but I left feeling really inspired and energized by not only the idols, but the spirit of the fans too 😍

A few weeks ago I browsed around a mall and stumbled upon a Korean gyaru brand's pop-up!

I didn't buy anything, just took pictures 😆 Flipping through the Japanese gal magazines on the table was fun.

I love how gyaru fashion often brings about the question "what is gyaru exactly?" I'm fover pondering about the things I admire lol.

Last weekend I visited the ACDC Rag store in Harajuku for the first time since 2015! I'm really happy to see the brand continuing strong and gaining more international supporters. The building looks so nice and cool! I could only pick up some arm warmers and accessories but maybe next time I can get one of their really cool jackets 🤩

I just uploaded a new vlog on YouTube about what I did in February... 2023 🤣 that included visiting Florida and hosting Dream Valentine Live and doing a photoshoot with my new costume at the time with .photography ! These are just some behind the scenes pictures... we took soooooo many LOL. I've been meaning to share them within a photobook project that will... get done eventually 😶

Although the vlog content is OVER A YEAR OLD I hope you can still check it out 😅 I'm catching up on my backlog of footage and soon... we will be up to present day on my channel and I can share some more fresh content and upload more regularly!

I don't claim to be an "influencer" in the typical social media sense. I'm just a person sharing their life as a way to connect with others. I do creative projects as a form of self-expression. While some people put on a facade or a persona online, creating things online is the way I can share the real me! I'm really glad to have my energy and enthusiasm again as I'm getting back into the swing of editing videos 😁

If you haven't tried documenting your life, even if you don't post it anywhere, I suggest you do it and start today! Everyone has a life worth documenting. Even though my views are super super low, I still feel the need to edit and upload videos because I simply like looking back at what I did... and maybe I still hope one day I could reach a million subscribers 😂😂😂
