Turn your pages to a new chapter, and come celebrate the start of a new academic year with BRIGADA ESKWELA '24. Give your buddies a big hug and extend a warm welcome to newcomers in a brand-new classroom. Might as well attend exciting events prepared by the RHS SSLG!

• SHS (Grade 11 & 12) - July 22, Monday
• Grade 7 - July 23, Tuesday

On this day, we celebrate the Philippines’ Independence Day.

We may be freed from the pain of the past, but we are being watched by the giant red neighbor. With this, we can say that the fight is not yet truly over. Despite China’s eagerness, we will raise our flag.

In fight for the settlements and homeland, Israel paves its way to the Cities of Palestine to this day in 1967.

Prior to that year was the 1948 war, the first of all the Israel's deprivation to get the rich culture of Jerusalem, the land of the Muslims and of the Arabics, to form their own all-in-one land. The commencement of this war began when the United Nation Partition Plan for Palestine issued on 29 November, 1947 planning to divide the territory to an Arab State, Jewish state and a Special International Regime that includes Bethlehem and Jerusalem.

Expelled 700,000 Palestine people from their homes, destroyed 500 villages, cities, just to get not only their territory but the land from the Palestinian People.

Back in 1967, Syria had concluded wrongly about an invasion of the Israel. Feared Syria, asked helped to Egypt in preparation for a fore-thought war. But also, Egypt signed a mutual agreement to join forces against the Israel. But with its massive economy system, Israel held tightly to their land.

And it does not end there. After 57 years, Israel is still under attack.

April 10 | Eid-al-Fitr

Celebrating the end of the holy period of Ramadan, where devout Muslims fast from dawn to sunset.

As Ramadan comes to an end, Muslims prepare to celebrate the month of fasting, devotion, and contemplation. Eid Al-Fitr, or "the celebration of breaking the fast," is expected to fall on or around Wednesday, April 10, this year. Muslims commemorate the occasion with private and community events such as communal prayer (salat), parties, preparing and eating special foods, giving gifts, wearing new clothes, and visiting friends and family. In the Islamic Hijri calendar, the crescent moon signifies the beginning of the month of Shawwal.

As we celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, let us remember to be grateful for our blessings as we bring joy to those around us. Eid Mubarak!
