A Vak De Gar project nearing completion is tentatively titled, 'Still, They Reach For Wells Long Dug.' It is a mix of acoustic and electronic layers, some dubstep wub and post rock climactic buildups and long melodies. The sound shares elements of bands and composers like Mahler, Skrillex, Brahms, Silver Mt Zion, Sigur Ros, Lubavitch Niggunim, Lorenna Mckennit, Korn, Crowbar, and Yanni but is in truth none of these but something all its own. The third album, currently being worked on at ADAM II is with artist Yossi/Tuvi/Toby Miller. Miller is an evocative vocalist and guitarist with powerful stage presence who has worked with Yehuda Green and Yehuda Glantz. He is the son of Stanley Miller, the Jethro Tull-ish floutist who put out albums in the late 70's and early 80's. This album is a series of extremely soulful, carlebach influenced songwriting with banjo, ukelele, mandolin, violin, cello, flute, drums and bluegrass/crooked still arrangements.
