What happened in is nothing but pure callousness by Central Government. They should have nipped this Tikait gndu in the bud when the time was ripe. They let him take sympathy and he is sh****ng and pi***ng lawlessness all over north, wherever elections are due.

Sometimes I miss Indira Gandhi and her power-wielding sense. She knew how to rule by power.

Narendra Modi is too soft a PM. Even Amit Shah has felt burdened by hounding media's cameras to stay less controversial.

I wonder who pays the psephologist so much money, resources to blurt out buffoonery predictions like 200+ or absolute majority despite being out in the field for such a long time.

I wonder who are the election management people gunning for the party with childish chides like "O didi" or "2 mayi, didi gayi" in the script.

Your opposition is a ruthless killing machine that cares zilch for your morals, ethical compliance, and political ethos. No wonder they have ruled the roost for years, owned and managed voices in media like their bitch - the same media whom you downplayed and went on to with moral compass kept high.

Letting two-bit people continue with their anarchic roadshows and civil war'sque demonstrations while giving out a meek "wE ArE ExPOsING tHeM" justification?

There was a reason why Congress ruled this country for decades and ABV went out in just one term. People's psyche is a weird thing - they will remember the atrocities, ruinations and cold-blooded dealing with dissents. And out of fear, they will choose the fearsome leaders most of the time while they may choose a gentle ethical leader once in a while before getting bored of their choice.

Your good works are forgotten soon as they are subjective - good for most, bad for some.
Your bad works are also forgotten more or less.

But the work you do to invoke terror and fear in the heart of the adversary is remembered by all - your enemies, friends, internal and external observers - all.

You cannot win over demons with stories that don't resonate much with populace. Demographics are changing wildly, you don't have much time, and this ain't a David vs Goliath story either.

You on backfoot quicker than a tail-ender trying to pull a spinner upon hearing a bunch of low-rent media hookers trying to pass off their strip show as some kind of journalism.

Before you realize it, it may be too late to take action. Drop that ludicrous veil of morality, screw the ethics and play their game on their very level on the very same ground.

And please, no "vote share is increased, seats are increased" excuses - these are the highest dosage of complacency a cadre can have.
