Wannabe Wonks Bi-partisan political discussion from neophytes trying to wrap our heads around government. Podcast: There's something missing in politics podcasts.

You can find shows on breaking news, covering the new administration, or even hyper-partisan opining about winners and losers. This podcast is for those of us on Main St, by those of us not enmeshed in politics or reporting. It's a podcast about processing news and educating ourselves on issues of governance and public administration - learning everything in the spare time we all find so precious.

Getting through the party rhetoric is though. But, between Hailey and Andy, we're going to attempt a bipartisan look at news and policy from the local, state and federal levels. We won't be impartial, but these civics discussions will be most civil - though not often short. Hosts: Hailey and Andy are both constituents, not pundits. We're concerned citizens, not investigative journalists. In her overwhelmingly busy days, Hailey is a building inspector all over Southern California. Andy, a newish parent, fills work days as a producer in Hollywood. Both of us live in Orange County, California - a unique place, in more ways than one.
