Founded in 2007, 'the smallest mobile film festival in the world' Cann

es in a Van has been on a mission to give independent shorts, animations, music videos and features the recognition they deserve by screening on the street, hosting events and for the third year running, an international festival and awards. A truly alternative film festival, Cannes in a Van is enjoying a second year of a new partnership with motoring giant Ford for The Van d'Or Awards 2013. A European crop of independent shorts, animation, music videos and features will compete in 15+ categories, including a new Youth Jury Award at the gala event in September 2013. Last year's ceremony was presented by the legendary film critic Barry Norman and also featured Marques Toliver, Ithaca Audio and the top 5 Best Film nominees were screened throughout the event. The 2012 Jury consisted of key players in the film industry, distributors, promoters, actors, directors and producers including award-winning director Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham, Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging).
