“Uy Scuti was inspired by one of the first photos ever take of a young Norma Jeane by Joseph Jasgur 75 years ago. In 1946, she walked into Jasgur’s studio in LA and asked him if he could shoot publicity photos. She needed them, she said, to break into modeling. She was broke.
Eleven years later, she landed a small part in her first film The Shocking Miss Pilgrim. She went on to become the biggest star the world has ever known.
