Welcome to Later Life (Furness & the South Lakes), a new bi-monthly digest of local news, views, experiences and an insight into exciting new leisure opportunities for people aged 55+ and its all going on in the Furness and South Lakes area. What sets us apart from other magazines aimed at the over 55’s is that we are about lifestyle and living. We will also donate a percentage of our profits to a

chosen charity. Our chosen charity for 2012 is Duncan House, visit www.duncanhouse.org.uk for more information about this worthwhile charity helping families from Cumbria. We would welcome any comments, articles and views from local people. Together, with you, our aim is to make Later Life (Furness & the South Lakes) a colourful read full of local, news, views and more importantly fun things to do in your area. So if you've something you'd like us to know, or feel would be of interest to our readers, get in touch. We don’t believe Life begins at 40, it becomes much more fun from the age of 55. The launch edition of Later Life (Furness & the South Lakes) is due out at the end of February 2012.
