Son of Philip has long influenced us as a friend and collaborator, so we’re honoured to now feature him as an artist. We first heard ‘Infinity’ back in 2020 and it totally resonated with us. Through subsequent sessions and collaborations he created his first full length record ‘Plastic Borough’, an odyssey in itself, coming to on vinyl & digital in early April.

This Saturday at 7pm, we’re hosting a one-off intimate release party for the Nottingham quartet, Purple Hat Mob.
Their debut single ‘Awful, Wonderful Idea’ (to be released on Bandcamp this Friday) marks the beginning of their journey into tripped out electronica.
They are influenced by soundscapes from Talk Talk’s 1991 album “Laughing Stock”, the German psychedelica of the 70s, as well as more modern ambient and forward-thinking electronic music.
It’s a chance to see the band up close and personal as they perform a selection of their unreleased back catalogue.
