Heavy Metal fans are some of the most accepting, loving, participating, and awesome fans in existence. There are not many ways you can throw them a curveball.

One way is to switch vocalists from your Chilean college/lifelong buddy who can wail like a banshee (I mean that in the best way possible), to your UPS coworker/lifelong buddy who you heard screaming like Chuck Billy in the trailer next to you. We always get a lot of questions about this change. It was entirely organic. Alonso Zø Donoso now fronts Prehistoria , putting out some of the coolest music I've ever heard. https://www.prehistoria.band/ . Adam and his family and circle are amazing and I am honored to call them friends.

I have a feeling that you have not heard the last of either of them singing on Dark Mirror songs. 😉

However, for No Right to Rule, the vocals are primarily going to be performed by my dear friend Jeremy M. Wachob . I s**t you not there are only a few people, world renowned or not, that I have seen that can play the drums and sing as well as Jeremy can. One is Joey Belladonna Joey Belladonna ! Eric and I were at a live Belladonna show mourning the tragic Pantera and crew news in the wake of the shooting. Joey, and his band and the crowd, were so amazing and it was so therapeutic. It was this moment that inspired us to get serious about Dark Mirror and put out our first record!

Every album has been a miracle. And I do not put this lightly. Kyle Sherrod has been a major part of this journey and I will always be grateful to him for that. Helping us get the best sounds recorded possible! And putting up with our wild ass input! Dustin Creagan stepped up and we could not have put out Portrait of Evil without his majestic guitar playing. On Patterns of Chaos, Garan Drozd put the band on his shoulders and helped us persevere with a fiery passion that you can still hear with Traffic Death and Electric Assault .

I have to mention my buddies from my stint doing a Kiss tribute as well! It was a life changing experience and to get noticed by Gene was not something that I could have ever anticipated. It was this period that gave me the courage to howl on a b side or two and you will get to hear that soon as well! For the artwork of No Right To Rule the rad AF Tanner Saltzman helped me, once again, to bring a character and a concept to life! I finally got to play the basses that he painted on this album as well! Groovy!

Like too many people I have been in some low places, low is an understatement, over the course of the last few years. With the help of many other people, and other lifeforms, I scoured the depths and came through it. I have to acknowledge some wonderful artists that helped me get through some dark nights of the soul. Greyhawk Official , Crystal Viper , Spirit Adrift , , Blood Star William Elliott Whitmore , Bloody Hammers , and Traveler ! For my hard earned currency, these are some of the best bands and artists going today! I also have to acknowledge the book "The Man from Ida Grove. " Reading about this individual and this book helped me immensely.

There are lots of other people that have helped us get to this moment in time and we will get to all of them on this album release journey! We look forward to getting back to live shows with the help of Jeremy Hall and Clint Wheelman Clint Wheelman . Jeremy Hall and Clint have been through a lot with me and they are some of the best people I've ever stood side to side with. Jeremy is one of the most solid rhythm players that I have ever heard! Our stint with him in SpeedRun is something that I will always cherish!

Eric and Marco first started playing heavy metal as Lucky and Wild on terrestrial radio in the early 2000’s. Eric went to music school and Marco went on to manage a radio station and work for Iowa Public Radio. They have written, recorded, and played music together in multiple groups and now they return to their radio roots. #HeavyRadio is here to bring you all things heavy.
