Court grants Abba Kyari bail after 27 months in detention

Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court Abuja has granted the former Commander of the Force Intelligence Response Team, DCP Abba Kyari, temporarily bail for two weeks on passionate grounds, to go bury his mother.

Kyari was granted bail to the tune of N50 million and a surety in like sum. The bail comes after he spent cumulative 27 months in detention.

Kyari is to deposit his travel passport with the court and shall always report to any formation of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) nearest to him within the period the bail was granted for.

The court subsequently set Friday, May 31 for determination of his bail application.

Kyari is facing trial for drug-related charges filed by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA.

Recall that former IRT boss was arrested on February 14, 2022, by the NDLEA.

He lost his mother, Mama Yachilla Kyari, in the early hours of Sunday, May 5, 2024. She’s survived by 10 children, including Abba Kyari, who is the eldest son.

2. Filter your current friends and make more business partners.

4. stop the night club every weekend.. Stay inside sometimes and read a book 📖.

5. (Ladies) stop waiting for a prince charming to come and save you (Hollywood and Brazilian series lied to us), you should know that now.

6. Stop dating someone you don't see yourself having a future with.

7. (Guys) stop honoring every invitation to bars to just drink and talk football 🦶.

Don't make mistakes some of our Fathers or Senior Brothers made.

Marry now with the little you have. Don't wait to be a millionaire, Have kids early so you can grow with them.

Grow with your kids and succeed with
your wife. You will never finish making money or achieving your plans.

You might still not succeed at your target year. So start your life early, with consistency you will grow.

My father said this to me: _When i was 25, i was talking about making billions before i marry.

Many years later, billions didn't come, yet no kid no wife... I had an opportunity to marry the most beautiful love of my life very early, But my fear was, can i really take care of her? But right now She's married with Four grown up children.

The guy that married her was still schooling then, but had the courage. They worked hard and succeeded together. I failed, so please if you can feed yourself, you can feed your wife. You have to believe it, marry early, don't wait.

Don't make our mistakes, I see
my childhood friends play with their kids..

Most of them are not doing as well as me.. But they are happier with their families..
