Music Website - Mp3 Blog, Exploring Music Media & Youth Culture Over The Last 50 Years - PowerPop To Punk- Blues To Bluebeat, Exposing Cool New Music, Sharing Thoughts & Ideas. Mojophenia started as a convenient homepage on the Blogger platform towards the end of 2006. A chaotic jumbled collection of web links and widgets which has slowly evolved into the time eating monster it is today. As with
most Music Websites/Blogs a salary is not a viable option, any money generated in writing reviews and press releases is swallowed up with hosting and the domain name. Mojophenia is absolutely free and will remain that way so please be patient with any music submissions, I have a family, they require food, so I also have other work outlets. We happily review new releases and unsigned artists, promote gigs or cover summer music festivals. The only criteria rests with my personal preference and music taste, Mojophenia will always remain on the side of independent music. Please look around, maybe download a free mp3 (right click & save as) or purchase a new release from the numerous buy links attached to each post. I always go out of my way to gain permission when posting any media. If you are the owner of any hosted material posted here and you`re not into free promotion, a simple email will remove any offending files. We review and post almost any musical genre. Drop us a line, whether you`re an artist or promotional company, we do try and listen to absolutely everything received. Things have moved on considerably this year, music submissions reach us to the extent of 100+ emails a week, so unless your music is delicately primed to blow our socks clean off, it may take a week or so to get back to you. A few pointers to consider while thinking about throwing an email in this direction. Try and include a simple bio with quality pictures and important web links. Being able to post a free download always goes along way, giving our readers an extra treat for reading a post or news story has always been appreciated and we never post any material without the artist`s sole permission. Most importantly, we`re only music lovers with an Internet connection trying to push forward unsigned heroes whilst celebrating past musical icons.
