I sat down in the boat filled with expectations trying to catch the fish that could bring reality to my expectations, the boat was so heavy due to the expectations I had packaged to give the fishes of reality, trying my best to catch them and and lure them with my expectations, so as my expectations would become a reality. I sat down and waited, tossing it over and over again but got nothing. I searched everywhere hoping to see people like me struggling, but with beautiful smiles planted on their faces, they caught more fish than expected, well more than their expectations, you may say. I smiled at their achievements, and tossed it over again! But caught nothing! Tossed it over the second time, with the same result. I kept on tossing but well, you know the answer, it yielded no result. I felt tired, weak, and also desolate. I needed water to give me the strength to carry on, but I wasn't ready to take the corrupt water in my boat that had the particles of my thoughts, I tried shouting to the other fishermen at the riverside but their shouts of achievements stopped me. I could feel myself getting more faint! I went over to where the corrupt water filled with the particles of my thoughts was! I gulped it and felt more relieved! I wanted more of the water. I could feel myself wanting more of the water.
I felt the ocean calling unto me, I jumped in hoping to get the sweetness of the water! But the water betrayed me instead, I could see my whole life covered in the darkness than words could ever describe as I sank into the ocean. I was tired of the darkness, I tried shouting but who am I kidding? the sharks of agony bit me. I couldn't find a resting place to nurture my mind. I was hoping for death, I tried all I could do, I felt I was dead but still felt I could breathe. I felt I was dead, but I could see some light! Wait! A light!! I saw a light, it was dim at first, but brighter it became as I screamed for help. I could see light shining towards me and I accepted it totally without thinking twice. I felt mesmerized by the light and I could see my eyes lighten up. I closed my eyes cause the lights hurt my eyes! I opened it and I found myself in the boat but this time it was due to me being soaked due to pain, I thought the pain was the color red but then it was blue. I looked over to the fishermen and I realized they were bringing their expectations into reality, but this time it didn't make me weak. When I feel thirsty, I would shout for more and use the light to search for water when necessary and for my expectations to spring forth, it needs light and patience.
