"why am i still waiting?"

Sometimes we feel life getting too idle or stagnant. Feeling like we are not achieving enough, stuck in a boring routine, or a nothing is new or significant. Take heart, a flower cannot bloom in all seasons, we have seasons of greatness, and seasons of waiting, and the transitions in between.

God does not want you to just stand still and become idle in a place of nowhere or in a situation where there seems to be no other way around; instead, He wants you to move out of where you are. He deeply desires for you to walk by faith and not by sight continually, and ultimately, He just wants you to constantly move through life, no matter how hard it is, for He is very sure that "He will be with you wherever you go."

Psalm 37:7 (ESV) "Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act."

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

"True love hurts…”

There's this prophet in the Bible named Hosea. The Lord told him to go and marry a wife who is unfaithful and have children with her. Hosea obeyed God without questions. Now, this woman is very unfaithful to the bone and is hurting Hosea again and again, but still, Hosea, with his true love for her wife and his true love for God, keeps accepting her again and again even more.

That story hurts, right?

But do you know that Jesus was like Hosea, and we are his wife?

We are unfaithful.

We are stubborn.

We keep hurting Jesus.

But Jesus will always accept us, time and time again, because of his true love for us. He even paid the price of our sins on the cross, just for redemption, and so we will finally be united with him for eternity if we accept Him and believe Him.

The Lord loves you and accepts you no matter what you did in the past, present, or even in the future. His love for you is timeless. This is your time to get back on track with God. Accept him, believe him, ask for His forgiveness, and live for him until the time that we go back home in his arms.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." - Jeremiah 31:3

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." - 1 John 1:9

"this world shall pass away."

Are you tired of working and striving for that perfect life? You work with your blood, sweat, and tears for the finest things that the world can offer. You achieved everything in your life. You got the most beautiful house, the most powerful car, the titles, the name, and the medals, and you acquired all these things all of your life just to pile them up for the moths and the rust to destroy.

I'm not saying it's wrong to work hard and to become successful, but if that's the only thing you center your life on, then I have a problem with that. We cannot make Jesus our number two, three, four, and so on. He must be our number-one priority.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal." - Matthew 16:19-20

"This world shall pass away, but Jesus and his word will remain."
