Today is my birthday. My mom sent be this beautiful gift. This is my mom and dad’s actual wedding rings soldered together and my initials in the middle. Commence ugly cry now!

Birthdays have always been a little weird for me. ALWAYS GRATEFUL to see another year but celebrating myself isn’t second nature to me. I felt so loved and celebrated today! Thank you to everyone who showed me love!

When going through my father’s belongings, we found his Bible. In the back he wrote me a note, i don’t know when he wrote it but we discovered it after he passed. It has become my North Star, maybe it will bless you too!

At the top of the year I claimed this year as my year of miracles, but as i look back it truly was my year of recovery. This year, i learned to dance with joy and sorrow. I learned to let myself be loved (by myself first). I’m walking into 2024 with more trust in myself than I’ve ever felt. This year was completely different from what I hoped it would be…but it was exactly what i needed it to be…which is in and of itself, miraculous! #thankyou2023
