I committed to making a change, not just for my weight, but for my overall health.I started with a clean diet, focusing on whole, nutritious foods. Gone were the junk foods and sugary snacks. I incorporated plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains into my meals. It wasn’t easy at first, but I knew I had to stick with it.Exercise was the next big step. I began with light activities like walking and gradually moved to more intensive workouts, including strength training and cardio. The first month was challenging, and the weight loss was slow. But I didn’t give up. I reminded myself that consistency is key.After one month, I started seeing results. It wasn’t just about the number on the scale—I felt more energetic, my mood improved, and I started to feel more confident. This motivated me to keep going. Each day, I pushed myself a little harder and stayed committed to my new routine.Now, six months in, I’m still on my weight loss journey. The progress has been incredible, and I’ve managed to maintain a healthy routine. It’s not just about losing weight anymore; it’s about living a healthier, happier life.I also want to be honest about my journey: there are days when I indulge in cheat meals or go off track during trips. As someone who loves doing restaurant reviews, it’s natural to have moments where I enjoy food without restrictions. But the key is balance.
