Kinda looks like ours 😍 I like having this on my desk as a reminder of the exciting adventure ahead. Now I just gotta find a little white 1/64 vintage pickup to pull it around my desk, no I'm not getting much work done..... 😂

I've always been in love with vintage style & music. It's been my dream to own a vintage style travel trailer, and someday a classic car! We had a 50s/60s style wedding, where we only played classic golden oldies and we even had this amazing turquoise vintage car at our wedding! (The car was actually loaned to us for free by the then current CEO of Robbins Brothers, a crazy story for another time). I also designed the 50's bridesmaid dresses myself and had them custom made, in my favorite color of course!
Anywho, I always pictured having a vintage trailer, but since we got the wild hair to sell everything and live in it full-time, we knew we had to invest in something a bit bigger than I imagined, and also we wanted the necessary modern amenities. So buying true vintage wasn't an option for us cus we are not handy with renovations. Good thing for us, there are just a few travel trailer brands that actually make vintage replica trailers with updated modern amenities!!! But only one brand i found that makes them with the classic checkered flooring..........,

to when my parents lived full-time in an RV and we used to tag along with them and bring baby Chaos. Do you see her behind Andy???) We would bring our little tent and sleep on the beach. Here we were camping with them on the beach in Malibu back in 2011.
Some of my best memories are growing up camping, we always had a travel trailer as early as I can remember. First it was a little fiberglass Scamp, and then we upgraded to a Bigfoot.
Andy and I have been tent camping & traveling together with our dogs since we started dating and I'm surprised we didn't jump into full-time travel earlier. Now it definitely feels like a "wow, of course this is what we should do" era as we both are entering our 40's, and we are looking forward to new adventures. We don't know where we'll end up, we are interested in so many places that we just want to see as much as we can. Cheers to following that good weather, always 🔆

The trip last year that solidified our decision to sell our house and travel full time! We traveled to Maui, Kauai & Oahu. We looked at each other and said "how can we live like this all the time???" We want to live so many places and chase that good weather all year. Life is just too short and precious to not go for your dreams & live where you want to be. I would love to continue my photography career and focus more on travel, but also booking creative sessions all around the country. We want to have extended visits to our families in all different states but without having to leave our dogs, home & work behind. We feel really great about our decision and we couldn't be more excited to get out of homeownership and feeling stuck in one place.
I feel so lucky to have found a partner that is continuously supportive and excited about my big ideas. We truly have each other's happiness as our top priority and feel really lucky to experience new things together and be on the same page about what we value most.
We decided if we ever settle down again someday it's gonna have to be really special.... Maybe paradise?

House update! I finished painting this guestroom last night!! Just gotta clean up my work crap, but it's mostly staged already for showings. The only thing left to finish is painting the stairs! Selling things all the time and working on downsizing. The house will be ready in about a week or so and then we just have to clean up some landscaping for photos/showings. The very last thing we have to do is put a new liner in the pool, but that's it! Our goal is to list by the end of March! Andy is finally letting me talk to him about the travel trailers I've been researching, he likes to focus on the immediate tasks and I'm always living 10 steps ahead and it can get overwhelming. We are letting go of a lot of materialistic things and it feels really good. Looking forward to living minimalistically and starting fresh.

Today's progress! I'm finally letting go of all my wedding decor.... Well most of it. I'm keeping all the classic car model replicas. I'm not sure why I held onto decor like this for years, I've clearly not used it since and I'm not even that sentimental about most of it. It's really invigorating to get rid of all this stuff. Downsizing for a fresh start!
This weekend we will be listing a bunch of stuff and we will be finishing the painting in the house! The goal is to list our house at the end of March! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

We are Andy, Brynn, Chaos, Bucky & Simon!
I am from a small town in the Pacific Northwest, and Andy was born and raised in Minnesota. We both moved to Los Angeles when we were young to pursue our dreams in the creative arts! We lived there for 15+ years working in the entertainment industry, met on a random gig and our friendship grew to love 💕
We got married in 2016 in Malibu, California. We had a 1950s/60s-themed wedding. We have 3 small dogs, and we love them like children. We couldn't afford to buy a home in LA, so a couple years ago (impulsively during the pandemic) we decided to move to Texas to buy our first home. We drove our dogs to the new house, then flew back to LA to get my truck and utility trailer of belongings. From there we took the ultimate road trip from Los Angeles, up to Seattle to see family, and then down from the PNW to Texas. We had so much fun despite some major disasters, like my truck blowing up on the freeway, leaving Andy's work laptop on top of the same truck while driving away, and ending up at a nudist campground by accident. It turns out we actually enjoyed the road trip more than being homeowners in Texas, and shortly after moving here, we knew it wasn't for us. I don't regret it - we had amazing quality time with our Texas friends and learned a lot about ourselves in the process. We at least know what we don't want, and are ready to discover what we DO! Being in our late 30's & early 40's, child-free, and working remotely, we feel this opportunity is now or never and we don't want to let it pass by, since we would always wonder. We are both late bloomers and decided we weren't ready to settle down. We also don't want to rush into choosing another state/or country to commit to until we have seen much more of North America.
It was the plan in 2024 to sell our house and hit the road. Our darling baby girl, Chaos, was diagnosed with TCC in her bladder, a terminal, aggressive, inoperable cancer that is going to take her from us years sooner than we ever expected. We always thought she would be on this new adventure with us. This next chapter of our love story begins as a tragedy, thankful for what time we have.
