It came as a shock for us that our dear friend, amazing artist, gifted musician and a kindred spirit Phil Gerus has passed away. Phil Gerus was a natural musical talent, an artist with a vision - true, uncompromised, sincere, free.

On 13.06.23 Phil and his younger brother Ivan (JJ the Icon) became the victims of a terrible road accident in Batumi, Georgia. While crossing the street at the crosswalk they got hit by a car driven by a drunk police officer. The police officer is under trial now.

Phil tragically passed away in the ambulance while Ivan was taken to the intensive care ward with serious life-threatening injuries. The doctors managed to save Ivan and he is recovering now after multiple operations. He is in need of a long rehabilitation with several more operations due.

Phil’s family is now bearing heavy costs - including the lawyer’s fees with the case against the drunk police officer, the costs for burial, the medical treatment for Ivan and travel from Russia to Georgia.
