From his early years in a small Southern Baptist church near Pickens, SC, to his global military service, George has always maintained a deep faith and passion for music. After concluding his decade-long service with the SC Army National Guard in 2022, George returned to his musical calling, continuing to lead praise and worship, participate in missionary efforts, and create new music. Music has been important to G.L.O since she was young. When she received Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1998, she asked God to reveal her purpose. As she began writing songs, the songwriter noticed that none of her songs glorified God.

“That all changed one fateful day,” G.L.O says, “when God had a Word for me in Bible Study: ‘You can’t have one foot in the world and one foot out.’ After receiving that message, it was the breakthrough I needed. I haven’t looked back.”

The song is from “Sundae Best,” We The Least’s second album and currently is available on all streaming platforms. A video for “Made You Too,” which was written by band member Michaela DeLong and produced by Nathaniel Dulski, is available on YouTube.

Michaela DeLong, who sings and plays keyboards, says the song was inspired by a friend’s Instagram post.

"The post basically talked about how we, as humans, look in awe at the things God has created: oceans, mountains, sunsets. Then the next second,” DeLong points out, “we turn and look at ourselves in disappointment. The Instagram quote ended with the phrase, ‘as if He didn’t create both.’ I instantly knew God had specifically allowed me to see that post.”

DeLong shares that she personally related to the message.

“I can sit and watch sunsets for hours, absolutely amazed by the colors God paints in the sky. I can hardly breathe looking at the most spectacular view at the top of a mountain. I truly connect with God through His creation. God has made a world that is indescribable. But we constantly forget that ‘He made us too!’ He made me. He made you.”

DeLong worked on “Made You Too” for three years as she processed the idea that, “just as the stars have a purpose, and the sun and the moon, each of us has a purpose too,” she says.

“The day I finished the chorus, I bawled my eyes out,” she shares, “because I truly believe God gave me the lyrics to encourage other people and to encourage myself.”

We The Least, comprised of Michaela DeLong, Nathanael DeLong, Noah DeLong and Dell May, took the 19th Annual Songwriter of the Year honors in a competition by ChristianSongwriting.com. The group released its first album in 2019, titled, “Screw It Up.”

The band members describe their music as 'indie country Christian' because they write in a variety of musical and lyrical styles, and are known for their creative use of three-part harmony. The band recently relocated from their hometown of Mendota, Illinois, to Nashville, Tennessee, to continue pursuing their music careers.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 18, 2022) – Jamaican-born gospel musician Matthew Aarons is releasing his single, “Glorious,” to gospel-formatted radio outlets today. The song, written by Aarons, was produced by Kirby Trim.

Aarons, who was born in St. Anns Bay, Jamaica, was raised in a Christian home and attended a United Pentecostal Church. By the age of 5, Aarons developed a love for the drums and soon began playing at his local church. He also sang in the children’s choir and occasionally led songs for the choir.

When Aarons was 14, his family migrated to the United States, settling in Clifton, New Jersey. He began playing the piano and, later, when his family relocated to Palm Beach County, Florida, Aarons joined the marching band and became part of the drumline.

After high school graduation, Aarons became music director at Pentecostal Tabernacle of West Palm Beach (Florida), where Aarons’ father was the pastor. Aarons also worked with the choir and praise team while attending Palm Beach State College, where he was part of jazz band and jazz combo.

Aarons signed with McLaughlin Music Group for representation on May 1.

The contest, hosted by CM United, is the longest-running Christian songwriting contest in existence.
