The Problem with Nigeria.
First, self-scrutiny is crucial. Let us be good Nigerians for the better Nigeria that we seek. Nigeria is what Nigerians make of it. What we exonerate from as Nigerians, and identify as root causes of the problems, are consequences of our actions.
We complain, (and will endlessly) about Nigeria. What about Nigerians? The problem with Nigeria is in and from Nigerians. Nothing changes and nothing can change for a better Nigeria until Nigerians change for good. Nigerians must resolve to be good Nigerians for a better Nigeria. It is only this patriotic transformation that will assure a better country - a sort revolution in character.
The change in Nigeria begins with individual Nigerians. Corrupt persons at different levels in leadership are Nigerians; corrupt followers among the elite, working class, private and public sectors, the poor masses are Nigerians; the president, governors and other politicians are Nigerians. The unGodly "men of God" exploiting their congregation are Nigerians. Officials of government departments and Parastatals like NEPA are Nigerians. Federal legislators - Senators and Reps. - and state legislators are Nigerians; corrupt Judges are Nigerians, the shared guilt is endless.
If and when Nigerians change and become more patriotic, we will have the Nigeria of our dream. One would have wished the acclaimed messiah, Peter Obi, was voted President to prove Nigeria will remain Nigeria; Peter Obi, one of the corrupt leaders in the past, would still be vulnerable.
Whoever becomes President is there for personal gains, to acquire wealth for himself, family and generations to follow. Search your conscience, you will do the same (as Nigerian) if voted President, wont you?
We say, the "youths are leaders of tomorrow." But one wonders when that tomorrow will come with decadent youths evident everywhere you go. The young generation is worse. This means Nigeria's pathetic situation will continue unending. Nobody is coming to the rescue. We are in supplication to God.

Success and failure in life derive from human deals on PRECISION with time. What is your relationship with time? Do you have great UNDERSTANDING or are you in CONFLICT with time?

How do we put time into good, optimal use? How do we make good judgement with time? Do we discern when we have time "on our hand" to proscrastinate or take full advantage of it? Do we strive to conquer time to our favour? If we do these, we are likely to make record progress in life.

When we strike business deals, we reach great understanding towards mutually rewarding financial ventures. In the same token, we can strike a good deal on PRECISION with our time.This is the secret of being result-oriented. It is behind the exciting story of successful men and women, while those who renege on this communion with time, tell the sad tales of failure and poverty.

Time means PRECISION in life!. Time is dynamic; it is nature-on-course, with its own pace and frame. It has a unique character, self-oriented, uncooperative and unsympathetic, oblivious of our "chase" after it. This explains the old adage, "time waits for no one."

Precision means bracing up, keeping at pace with time, investing accurately in time, and apportioning time appropriately on all aspects of life. This is prerequisite for success in life. A wise man invests time wisely too!.

Time is commensurate with human progress and accomplishment of aims and purposes. It is intertwined with human aspirations. Err on time, invariably means failing on aims and purposes.

Time is our life in motion, it is the wheel of our life, with a beginning, a duration and a destination. This presupposes that all our applications with time have definite "lifespan" within which results are achieved or lost, with the changing time.

Opportunities lost within a time frame are lost forever. But with precision, we pin down opportunities and cash in on time. Through precision we build up gains on the accuracy of time - when we know where we are with time (location), why we are there (reasons), and where we are going with time (destination).This is why we must be judicious and conscious of time AT ALL TIMES.

The overwhelming influence of time defines success or failure in business, employment, love life, family, career, education, etc. It has to do with such precision over our application of vital energy, thoughts processes, progressive actions, needs, dreams, priorities and so on, aimed towards success and fulfillment. The level of this success depends on our deal on precision with time. Each moment of time wasted, is a segment of our life wasted.

Strike a good deal on precision with your time from today, chances are you will succeed. Good luck!

Truly the era of Reno's "Sabificate"

Before allowing your degree to give you a false sense of security, please note that twenty-seven PhD holders applied to be truck drivers at Dangote Cement PLC. Let that sink in. Yes, go to school. Study hard. Graduate. But then be aware that the world has changed. Employers are no longer looking at certificates. They are looking for skills. For want of a better word, sabificate. Get digital and actual skills. Get nursing skills. Understand blockchain so you can block and chain poverty. We no longer live in the Industrial Age when schools were churning out certified workers. This is the Knowledge Worker era, where skilled workers are the most valued workers, regardless of whether or not they have a degree.

This is beautiful Senator (Barrister) Natasha Akpoti, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District in Nigeria.
The distinguished senator is less than two months in office, but affecting the lives of her people tremendously.
Before last Christmas, she brightened up her Senatorial district with solar lights everywhere - streets and dark corners of the environment.
Aboveall, to mark the Christmas and New Year, she gave the following items to her Senatorial district:
~ Six trailers of rice
~ 10, 000 wrappers
~ 20,000 notebooks
~ 5,000 school bags
While doing this, Senator Akpoti did not make noise praising herself, and did not subject the recipients to gather within her residence in supplication. Is she not truly selfless?
A Dino Melaye will stock his premises with more luxury SUVs and sport cars, and create videos of victory song to his real and imagined critics.
You have done well, Senator Natasha Akpoti. We will revisit this chapter of your report card when you resolve to favour your people as governor of Kogi State.
