After all, I’ve always considered myself a photographer, not a horse trainer – it’s not my expertise.

What wounds have been healed for you in the presence of horses?
I’ve always struggled with not feeling like I’m enough. I still do. That’s probably why I’ve found so much peace with horses. They allow me to be who I am.
I can come and sit down with my camera, and they’ll greet me curiously and openly. Just wondering who I am, and why I’m there, but never passing judgement.
