June has been an exciting month at Noodle Loaf HQ with a new book by and the first new Noodle Loaf episode in a year. So before the monthdometer rolls over I'm throwing a new single onto the webosphere.
This echo song, We All Belong, was inspired by Dan's new book series about communities and the roles communities play in young children's lives. Add it to your summer road trip playlists and let the world know that We All Belong!

Noodle Loaf is 4!!!!
According to internet sources, this is the year when developmentally we will finally be able to stand on one foot for 9 seconds. But will this be the year we learn how to make a decent Instagram graphic? Maybe yes maybe no BUT I bet there will be more singing, moving and goofing and hopefully you’ll be coming along for the fun.
Now wish us a happy birthday why don’t ya. 🎶 🎉 🎂 👯‍♀️

I love a heartfelt review, no matter the source. Here are two recent favorites, one of which drops a comparison and the other of which has a 5 year saying I make them “laugh so hard.” 💕

The text from the write-up:

“Having a kid is a weird challenge, made only weirder by the fact that it’s impossible to be an expert — you’re a newbie parent and then the kid’s grown up, and it feels like there’s no in-between. My daughter was almost 5 years old before I discovered Noodle Loaf, a sweet music-education podcast that we listen to together, and I feel like it’s my duty as a parent to tell other parents about it. It’s hosted by Dan Saks, who is kind of like Steve from Blue’s Clues mixed with Chris Thile, and it’s sweet and weird in the best way. Saks and his Noodle Loaf choir (“Noodlinos”) lead you through original echo songs that are silly enough to delight your kid but won’t make you curse under your breath when they’re inevitably stuck in your head an hour later — think Wayne Coyne or Frank Zappa. Each episode is about 10 minutes long — perfect for the drive to school or day care, or to listen to while making lunch or coloring. It’s geared toward kiddos between ages 3 and 9, but won’t talk down to them.”
