This season calls for balance
It can be a time where we can feel all over the place , but the body craves to feel grounded.

Eat more root vegetables, reduce raw foods.

Add more fats like ghee, avoado, nuts and seeds to help dryness due to change in weather

Sleep at the same time every day so your circadian rhythms stay balanced

Keep yourself moving with yoga and weightlifting. Stay away from intensity but focus on the strength building

Embrace routine and self care
Massage yourself with Oil to keep skin from staying dry

Make time for pranayama practice.

How do I get unstuck - while we all have our natural process - my clients often ask me how do I move through it. Firstly, it’s ok to feel stuck.

Being stuck in a way of being, thinking, narrative, experience as long as you get present with it and move through it gently. Here is how it looks like most of the times -⁣

💫 Feel and release - label the emotions, feel them in my body - meditate over them - embrace, love on them, and then lovingly release through movement, journal, sometimes crying, sometimes voicing and communicating.⁣
💫 Surround myself with expanders⁣
💫 Work with a mentor and coach⁣
💫 Begin my day with me time ⁣
💫 Pivot to the next best feeling ⁣
💫 Pause and slow down to reflect⁣

When we don't have tools and practices to regulate our emotional health
We turn to food
You see since we were children we were taught to be rewarded and comforted by foods like sweets, candies, ice cream
And while we all want to be comforted - doing that with kryptontie foods only gives us a dopamine release
and helps us feel good in the moment
shortly after begins the cascade of emotions- anxiety, low vibration feeling, fatigue, brain fog and more.
DO these to overcome emotional eating

1. Adopt an attitude of self compassion - and non judgement
2. Keep a journal - when you are in the moment - wanting to reach out for the bag of chips - journal instead on what emotions are coming up
3. Rest and De stress - know that this is your brain signaling you - that you are stressed. Make time for mindfulness, meditation and yoga asana.
4. Focus on a sleep - do you feel rested when you wake up ? When we are not rested - we tend to make the wrong decisions with regards to food choices as our awarness is slow. Create a sleep ritual.

5. Notice how you're feeling when you're hungry - are you calm and centered. Keep away from phones and get mindful and have an attitude of gratitude towards the food you're reaching out to. This attitude itself will keep you away from making wrong choices in the moment.
