Itenary that we followed for Spiti trip.Day 1 : Chandigarh to NarkandaThe Apple Capital of India● We reached Chandigarh airport and started early to beat the traffic out of Chandigarh and headed towards Narkanda.Day 2 : Narkanda to Chitkul /RakshamRide to the Last Inhabited Village● After a delicious breakfast, we left for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.● Travelled along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where we took a right turn towards Chitkul following the Baspa river.● Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border and here you can also visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’ for an amazing meal.● We had an overnight stay and dinner at hotel in Raksham.Day 3 : Chitkul to Nako● We woke up early and drove e through the Indo - Tibetan highway along with the small picturesque hamlets like Reckong Peo, which is the main town of Kinnaur district.● Passed through Khab Bridge that marks the confluence ofSpiti and the Satluj River.● Upon reaching Nako, we visited the Nako Gompa situated at the banks of the serene frozen Nako Lake which was established in 11th century.Day 4 : Nako to KazaSpot the elusive snow leopards in Pin Valley● Woke up in the morning and had a healthy breakfast.And hit the roads and just as we crossed Sumdo you we entered Spiti Valley.● Just 3 Km after Sumdo, took a detour on the right through the gate to visit the 500-Year-Old Mummy in the Guy Village.● Stoped by the “Ajanta of the Himalayas’ - Tabo Monastery, which is the oldest continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas.● Later, started a scenic drive towards the secluded land of Pin Valley - which houses the exotic and endangered Himalayan species including the Snow leopard and Siberian ibex, Tibetan Gazelle, etc.● After the sight seeing we proceeded towards Kaza where we spend the night at a home stay.#spiti #himachal #explore #wanderlust #travel #travelling #iphonephotography
