The Story of Cinemaniax So Far...
Cinemaniax began as a simple blog to chronicle a 100 Movies in 100 Days journey. It was totally unfunded (and still is) and done purely as a passion project.
After that feat of endurance was achieved, the blog sat idle for a while, but we noticed that people from around the world kept coming to visit and check out reviews on the various films that had been watched.
The blog has gone through some changes during it’s 8+ years of existence.
In 2012, through my day job at Fandango, I was able to curate extensive movie studio and press contacts for screenings, interviews, and event coverage. That access helped spur a new charge into Cinemaniax as we began posting Wondercon and San Diego Comic Con coverage as well as movie and celeb features.
