“We made it!"
I am filled with a mix of emotions. It has been a year of challenges, growth, and unexpected turns. Today, I want to share a story that I hope will resonate with each of you.
When I was elected as your class president, I was full of enthusiasm and grand plans. I envisioned leading our class to new heights, creating unforgettable memories, and fostering a strong sense of unity among us. However, as the months passed, the weight of responsibility began to bear down on me. The challenges were greater than I had anticipated, and the obstacles seemed insurmountable.
There were times when I felt overwhelmed and lost hope. I questioned my ability to lead, to inspire, and to make a difference. The pressures of balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and the expectations of my peers were daunting. There were moments when I thought about stepping down, convinced that someone else could do a better job.
But then something remarkable happened. In my darkest moments, I found support and encouragement from all of you. My classmates, my friends, and my teachers stood by me, offering words of wisdom, a listening ear, and a helping hand. It was through your kindness and solidarity that I rediscovered my strength and purpose.
I learned that leadership is not about being perfect or having all the answers. It is about resilience, humility, and the willingness to ask for help. It is about embracing our vulnerabilities and turning them into sources of strength. Most importantly, it is about believing in ourselves and in each other.
As we prepare to embark on the next chapter of our lives, I want you all to remember this: no matter how tough the journey gets, never lose hope. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, and be that source of support for others. Together, we can overcome any challenge and achieve greatness.
Today, we celebrate not just our academic achievements, but also the bonds we have formed and the lessons we have learned. We are a testament to the power of unity and the strength that comes from standing together.
"I hope this will last forever"
"Mingawon ko sa inyo"
"Maka mingaw mong tanan"
You're feeling are valid, and please know that "change is constant" everything we do, everything that we are comfortable doing, the environment, friends, peers and everything is constantly changing. I just want you to know that, this is just a first step for us to be able to accept the fact that we are not meant to stay like this forever.
Just like what I've always told you that, in order to have a great memories savor the moment. Because time is running and change is always coming. Just then we are all here, in the phase where we bid our goodbyes for each others.
To my Copernicus family, we've shared countless laughs, sleepless nights, and "I swear I'll start studying tomorrow" promises. Remember that time we tried to convince ourselves that watching a whole season of our favorite show was "educational"? Or when we formed study groups that turned into snack-fests and gossip sessions? Those moments of camaraderie and procrastination have made this journey unforgettable.
WE'VE MADE IT!
I am incredibly proud of each and every one of you. We have faced a year like no other, and we have come out stronger and wiser. As we move forward, let us carry the spirit of perseverance and hope with us, knowing that we have the power to make a difference in the world.
And to our beloved adviser, thank you for your endless patience and guidance. We know we weren't always the easiest group to manage—especially when half the class showed up late, armed with excuses more creative than our actual homework. Your advice was always spot on, even when we pretended not to hear it because we were too busy planning our next epic pranks or epic fails?
Throughout the epic fails, we thank you for all the lesson you've given to us ma'am. Thank you for inspiring us. We will see you in the future, and we are hoping that those various lessons you've shared with us will be our ladder to our success. We love you ma'am. We are always proud to say that, "Ma'am Airyn Arbuliente II, is one of our best teacher."
Thank you for believing in me and for allowing me to serve as your class president. It has been an honor and a privilege. Congratulations to the Copernicus 2024! Our journey has just begun, and I have no doubt that we will continue to achieve great things.
