This is another one we have been workin while we are serving time in lockdown. It is a little beauty that will tick the boxes of every soulie who strives to push the boundaries. Jason here gives his very best, not just writing lyrics but also laying down some great sax lines. HIS vocals and HIS sax are adapting and adopting, making really deep and groovy anything he works on. Remixed by DJ Rocca and mastered by Sam Berdah an engineer who is now a standard part of our production process within all the labels. Remember, its a 7" spinning at 33 rpms, more room for grooves andtrack lenghts, better sounding quality. Lads more of these sounds to come soon on Tesla Groove International Recordings aswell, with some great stuff from our artists roster plus a great additional surprise from one of the best Uk Djs and producers ever.

IN THE HILLS WITH... DJ Rocca

DJ Rocca is somewhat of an omnipresence in Italian dance music. His name appears on records, in label discographies, in parenthesis on remixes and on club and festival bills all around the world, as much for his eclectic DJ presentations as for his own sublime productions.

At the end, though, Rocca is perhaps best known for his work as one of Italy’s finest musicians and producers. As a close collaborator of Dimitri from Paris and Daniele Baldelli he has has released several albums and stacks of 12”s, not to mention his own solo output on labels like Futureboogie, Tirk, International Feel, Rotters Golf Club and Sonar Kollektiv that have electrified dancefloors the world over.

Handles like Ajello, Erodiscotique, Crimea X and Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca will be familiar to any discerning record collector, all of them different forms of Rocca's monikers and collaborations. Aside from that he also runs his own label, Danny Was A Drag King, which has put discs by Ichisan, Luminodisco and Supersonic Lovers among others.

Rocca’s presence looms large over the more eclectic side of Italian dance music, which is why we’re thrilled to have him onboard for this year’s festival. Always innovative, Rocca is a true wizard and his extended DJ sets reflect a lifetime in music and parties. ✨
