Inquiring about Video opportunities,
Do you have a need to video. I am searching for my next video project; Creative writing/storyboard / Videographer / Video editor, Multi Media Producer. Considering video, consider the following urls be evidence of my video making project skills? (I have more demos if needed.) I have been doing business as Television Services, dba Nate Stephens while providing technical day hire to local corporate and union projects.
My projects range the full spectrum from designing houses to installing video editing suites and stages, to fund raising, training, sales videos, location, multi camera video broadcast/web projects. I worked my way thru college on the six year plan and still need ten credit hours to complete.
I have been a self employed video contractor most of my career. I do not have project references due to client moving or retiring. Born into a prominent Washington, D.C. family in 1891 to a physician father and musically gifted mother, Lillian (Evans) Evanti was one of the first African American woman who left the United States and rose to international fame as an opera performer in Europe where her career flourished. In his interview for The HistoryMakers, the renowned opera tenor George Shirley who was the first African American tenor to perform a leading role at the Metropolitan Opera spoke in his interview of how the National Negro Opera Company was formed to give her an opportunity to perform. He said: “She sang under the name of Lillian Evanti. She was married to a professor at Howard University named Tibbs. And her name was Evans, so she brought both of those names together and Italianized it, so it was Evanti. And she is on record as being the first African American to sing with an established opera company in Europe [1925]… She founded the company, and her leading soprano was Lillian Evanti in both 'La traviata' and in 'Faust.' And they did performances in cities across the country.”
