Yet, it’s easy to breeze through the pages, eager to see what happens next, and we don't always stop to pause to appreciate the dedication in each panel. Everyone takes away something different from these moments, depending on what’s going on in our own lives. It's in those special instances, we find our Yugen Impact moment —profound, captivating, and uniquely personal. That’s where our mission starts. This is the first step to achieving my dreams; to do something I'm truly passionate about. Rock Lee is a ninja who lacks in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Despite this, his dedication to mastering Taijutsu highlights his commitment to overcoming his limitations epitomises the theme of perseverance against all odds. Throughout his journey, Lee has always applied himself 110%. It's not until his battle against Gaara during the Chunin exam, that we get to fully understand his resolve. Lee's relentless pursuit of excellence challenges the notion of innate talent versus hard work.

Rock Lee’s journey is marked by numerous challenges and setbacks, including severe injuries that threaten his career as a ninja. His resilience in the face of these obstacles is inspirational. Lee’s ability to bounce back from adversity and continue to strive towards his goals reinforces the series’ message of never giving up, regardless of the circumstances. "All your hard work will prove for nothing unless you believe in yourself!" Rock Lee's commitment to becoming a 'splendid ninja' is a testament to his character and exemplifies the strength of the human spirit.

As we honour Toriyama, we reflect on the profound impact of his work. Dragon Ball has played a special part in my childhood, teaching me lessons of resilience, hope and sacrifice. Growing up I felt so connected to Gohan that I saw parts of myself within him. The iconic moment in Episode 190, where Goku tells Gohan, "What's draining your strength is your own doubt," was so powerful, it also made me want to believe in myself. The victory of Gohan over Cell was a victory for all who found strength in overcoming doubt. In dedicating this poster, we celebrate Toriyama's legacy. His vision will continue to inspire, reminding us that our greatest battles are often fought within. The final Kamehameha still gives me goosebumps. Every. Single. Time.

This poster marks the inaugural release for Yugen Impact, and what I believe is the start of something truly special. This piece holds a place on my own studio wall - it's more than just art, it's a reminder to dream big and without limits.
