Attention keyboard nerds!
Recently tried out some new @kailhofficial switches. These are their new Winter Tactile Switches. As you can see, the name comes from the color scheme of light blues.
They feature a box style mx compatible stem, 5 pin bottom housing, extended 20mm spring, rbg shine through window, and a boxed housing design encloses the metal contact points to increase longevity by reducing dust and contaminants getting inside.
As far as tactile switches go, these have a very light press at only 38gf, with a quick and snappy return thanks to the extended spring. They have a total travel of 3.6mm with a pre-travel of 2mm.
Sound wise, I would say they are a medium volume when compared to other switches, and when lubed, provide a nice deep clack. They do come with a light factory lube but re-lubing them with some GPL 205 made a big difference in the sound profile and feel.
As for the construction of the switch, these are made with a POM stem, slider, and bottom housing paired with a PC top housing. They are a slightly pricier switch at around $60 for 110, but a packed with the features you would expect at that price point. If you like tactile switches and have a blue build in the works these would be a great addition!

Well... started the day by having a tire decide to blow out while I was cruising down the highway at 80mph.. 😮💨
Got it changed to the spare on the side of the road, spare was also mostly flat... Limped my way to a tire shop and made a lot of people mad since I was driving so slow 😅
Getting a replacement and sitting in the waiting area now, BUT im not going to let that ruin my day. We're going to get the new tire, stay positive and still go into work! You get to decide how life events effect you, try to remember that. ✌️

What were your thoughts on the GTA 6 trailer?
I was hoping GTA 6 would release next year rather than 2025, but im also not that surprised. Looks like it's going to be right on par with their other stuff. All of the Florida man looking sh*t, the intersection takeovers, rednecks mudding, and chick twerking on the moving car made me smile. Should be interesting.
Although I wish @rockstargames would actually have a PC day 1 release instead of always making PC players wait like a year before it's ported over, kind if ridiculous.

Taking a peek at the @obsbot Tiny 2 4k Webcam.
This is hands down the best webcam I have had the pleasure of testing out thus far. Compact size, magnetic base, tripod compatible, easy to use optional software, huge range of motion for tracking.. it checks all the boxes.
I've been testing it for a bit for various tasks, but stay tuned for a full write-up in a week or two.

Part 1 of a new series we'll be doing where we build possibly the world's smallest gaming setup!
It will be an all in one mobile gaming cart, fully kitted with a Full size PC, keyboard, mouse and of course RGB! My nephew plays with a controller, so the limited mouse space won't be a big deal. It will really only be used to start games and navigate the desktop.
The first step was getting this PC cart from @eurekaergonomic to serve as the base to it all. It had locking wheels and rolls easily, so we can push it out of the way when he's not staying the night with us.
