Eddie Reynolds aka Tr One is a DJ and producer based in Carlow, Ireland. A much-respected figure within Ireland’s fertile electronic music scene

Reynolds’ latest endeavours have brought him to release an acclaimed debut album on his new imprint Intrinsic Rhythm and prior to this releases on scene-shaping British label Don’t Be Afraid (where in 2019 he released one of his most-cherished releases to date, the magnificent ‘A Month Has Passed’ EP), as well as Lunar Disko, where he collaborated again, this time alongside compatriot R Kitt on the no-less-emphatic sounds of LDRX7 as well as the solo ChiCarlow EP. With recent releases on Mexican imprint Short Attention, Tokyo based Ashigakari and Dublin imprint First Cut these are exciting times for one of Ireland’s most consistent electronic music producers.

From a DJ perspective, Reynolds has played in all of Ireland and Dublin’s foremost nightspots including Twisted Pepper, Wigwam, Tengu, The Pavilion, District 8 and beyond in Belfast, London, Manchester and Berlin. A DJ with a truly eclectic vision, this is represented in the names he has played alongside. From Juan Atkins to DJ Stingray to Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Jeff Mills, DVS1, Maurice Fulton and Steffi, Reynolds is a DJ capable of stepping up under any occasion. From a live perspective he blazed a trail in Ireland with a unique hardware based live show which was recently resurrected for 2022's Open Ear Festival and will be performing further dates in 2023.

Ádhamh is a DJ/Producer currently based in West Clare. After spending many years in the club circuit in Galway, he founded an independent record label, Faoi Thalamh Records in 2020; the vision of which was to establish a community of underground artists that work primarily in electronic music. His latest release ''Nebula'', has recently premiered on Four Four magazine. The track is a love-letter to old-school sci-fi inspired techno; Taking inspiration from titans such as Jeff Mills and Basic Channel, Ádhamh wanted to capture that signature sound of the Detroit-Berlin fusion that began to emerge in the 90's.

For this iteration of the RLSD podcast, Ádhamh provides us with a 100% Vinyl mix, toeing the line between spaced out Detroit classics and modern hypnotic techno: ''I wanted to explore a psychedelic/hallucinogenic side of techno for this mix, with the flow of the music mirroring the different key stages of a trip. Spaced out techno for the onset, more challenging atmospheres for the peak and a nice break of tension for the return.''

Aoise steps up for the RLSD Podcast series with her signature dark, hypnotic techno. Aoise's sound and style are inspired by artists like Ø [Phase], Sleeparchive, and Oscar Mulero. Aoise demonstrates an apparent ability to push technical and musical boundaries carving out her own path in this sound and style.

After a successful summer playing various shows in Dublin city alongside the coveted Electric Picnic Rave in the woods proving that she is no slouch on the decks.

Aoise has been busy working on productions also and we eagerly await her first release that will no doubt cement a place in the greater global Techno community.

This Dublin-based DJ involved with the Darktrax Collective known for the curation of some quality lineups leaning towards ' Music and EBM sounds ', check them out! Second Source pedals quality industrial sounds unearthing and discovering harder-edged grooves. It's clear from the outset that Second Source is the real deal and an uncompromising artist for this immaculate selection.

It's refreshing to see another quality artist emerging from our rich tapestry of acts in Ireland. 'Second source has made a statement with this mix and will be shaking a dancefloor near you soon.

At RLSD Records we try to invest in and develop people. Every-once in a while we find artists with something extra going on, Spedned was one of these acts for sure. Under the tutelage of RLSD's Sunil Sharpe & Doug Cooney in BIFE it was clear from the outset that Spedned has something extra special going on. Illustrating his realness on and off the decks helping and encouraging his peers selflessly.

Spedned's has had a meteoric rise of late moving from strength to strength, co-founding Hidden Love back in 2021 he’s gone on to play venues all across the city such as Index, The Sound House, and Bow Lane while also supporting the likes of Vil, Cravo & Tommy Holohan.

Quickly establishing himself as one of the most skilled & gifted selectors in the capital, he prides himself on his work ethic and dedication to the craft. Heavily inspired by the late 90’s / early 2000’s era of techno which follows in his mixing style, he comfortably moves between vinyl & cdj creating a high octane performance. Expect energy infused grooves from the get go.

RLSD Podcast 035 // Jay Carroll - Celestial Mechanics

RLSD Records welcome Jay Carroll to our podcast series. A long time collaborator and friend of the label, this one has been a long time coming.

Jay has made is mark on Irish techno with the excellent club night, Mutate. Known for their uncompromising bookings, always with their finger on the pulse of the most exciting new techno artists, Mutate has become a staple for clubbers across the country. The night also boasts an top line up of residents, who alongside Jay, host their monthly show on Dublin Digital Radio [DDR]

For his addition to the series, Jay has provided us with an epic journey into the techno sphere, bringing some seriously transcendent and rushing vibes over the course of its close to 3 hour running time. Jay has selected some banging, spacey and experimental techno which perfectly reflects Mutate and it ebbs and flows with the feel of an experienced hand at the mixer.

RLSD Records gratefully welcomes New - Old record enthusiast DJ Frequency to our Podcast series. Having recently planted his roots in the Techno Mecca that is Berlin in a bid to Ferment an already quality record collection, DJ Frequency is set to take things up a level. RLSD Records founding member Doug Cooney formed a strong connection with DJ Frequency when their paths collided in the DIT DJ Soc. Doug had the honour of working alongside DJ Frequency when they embarked on the journey to conquer the competitive national DJ Comp. DJ Frequency who competed at the time as... ?!?! won the competition with ease and has since capitalised on the momentum gained from this conquest. The RLSD Team are always looking for opportunities to cultivate integrity seeding the future of the Techno Sound and without question DJ Frequency carries that Battle standard. This funked up and fast paced exploration of the genre left us refreshed and excited that the future of Irish Techno is in good hands.
