Have you visited in Truro yet? We’re a maker-run independent shop, showcasing locally produced handmade work, tucked away behind

The Guild was founded in 1977 and we have been in our current premises on Old Bridge Street since 1979. Our membership has changed over the years but we still hold our core values strong, to provide quality, handmade, original pieces for our customers to enjoy and cherish.

Our lovely shop is staffed and run entirely by our members, so when you do pop in, you’ll get to meet one of the makers. We’re always on hand to help, chat about our work or even discuss having a bespoke piece made for a special treat or occasion. And if you absolutely can’t make your mind up we also have gift vouchers available to purchase.

We’re very proud of our shop and each of us plays an integral part in keeping it running, from day to day maintenance to our beautiful window displays.

The Guild is open 10 - 5 Monday to Saturday and you can find us on Old Bridge Street, Truro.
Just a short walk from the Cathedral and an even shorter one from Old Bridge Street car park, which is quite literally a minute away.

So wonderful to see that the Elephant & Castle pub in Kensington in Holland road, which is very close to where all the Biba boutiques were situated still paying homage to BIBA to this day. Adorning their walls with images from the BIBA mail order catalogues & a framed opening newspaper from the 10th September 1973 when BIG BIBA opened.....💜🙏

A day of throwing for an order from . Lots of bowls on the way and I'm also really enjoying developing some new designs that I'll be showing .
And of course today is a lovely day because of the UK election results. There's obviously room for reticence - but boy, it's got to be better!

The lovely and cozy miniature vases from Kähler Hammershøi, fits nicely together in sets or can be placed around the home whether it is on the table, on the windowsill or as decoration on a shelf 💚
