I’m honor of Cher and with respect to her mother’s passing I just always loved this quote. The full quote was said in an interview when she told the reporter, “My mother said, “you know Cher you have to settle down and marry a RICH man”, she responded to her mother “I am the RICH man”.. then the photo is the rest of the quote. My definition of rich is defined by having skills, talents, a voice, mind, fruitful, solid..they list goes on. Material can be one thing but the value of a person is beyond what money can buy.

So with that being said taking your power and owning your truth with your experiences is important. Being accountable and accepting things for what they are is important. My next topic is going to be about accountability and how even through the tough and ugly experiences I try to take it with a grain of salt. I speak through my experiences and try to not let my emotions get the best of me.

You can’t control the people who you experience things with, you can only control how you react to it. I take all of what I get and use it as fuel to keep moving forward. Cheers to the end of the year and the beginning of a new one. When one door closes, so many open. Focus on the good and the good will get better!

Time isn’t real. They just switched the time back, how much more proof do you need?! Numbers been having me in a chokehold especially now as a new mom. S**t, I thought that the infant stage was tough, truth be told all stages will be tough. The toughest part of it all is the transformation I endure as I go through these changes. I have realized that there are things I need to change in order to have more grace in this new role. As I analyze the changes and acknowledge the things I need to change or eliminate it. This allowed me to take better accountability in my life. I vowed to take full accountability in the roles I play even if my perspective may be different from others who might tell it. I want to dive deeper into this subject and reflect on things people should take accountability all things present.

People know exactly what they do when they do it, so save yourself the energy and respond by doing/ being better.

In my next episode I’ll be talking about ‘Communication’. Communication comes in many types and forms. Two I can list now are verbal and non verbal. The kind of communication that I feel I’m proficient at understanding is ”reading a room”. I just know in my soul’s vibrations when something aint right. Sometimes I try to ignore it by still doing a thing or being around a thing although I know it’s no good for a “valid” reason but, it always costs me more at the end.

Knowing when to communicate and when to not communicate are extremely important as you align yourself right. It’s confusing for others when you start to do the work (analyzing your trauma, healing the trauma, and coping with the aftermath) and many will be upset and bothered by it but, that’s none of your business now.

It’s important to stay within a frequency of love even when you’ve been disrespected and your boundaries have been crossed. It’s taken me a long journey of crazy scenarios to be able to write this message down and spread some awareness. I can be specific but, I’ll save those detailed versions for my book.

Sometimes we forget how powerful the mind is. We create our realities by merely feeding it thoughts, music, videos, books etc. If there is anything you can learn from my conversation with ‘The Cause’ is that manifestation is a power we all hold. You want to have better, do better. Life has many temptations that will only lead you towards distraction and procrastination. There is a a huge difference between allowing yourself to rest and heal vs. playing around and self sabotaging.

My goal when I created this platform in 2018 was to be a light, and attract light. Along the way it got dark and terrifying but that is the beauty of it all. We all go through and will continue to move past adversity, it’s how we show up everyday that leads us to completing our goals. 💜🏁

The best decision I made was take time off completely from creating episodes the past year. Often times I find myself getting feelings of FOMO (fear of missing out) but, it all clears away once I put into perspective of what’s in front of me. Analyzing and really strategizing my next moves.

What kept me grounded? The genuine questions from many, “when you putting an episode out, what’s up with the podcast, are you still interviewing artists” yes and so much more! Learning from my experiences and watching artists pivot during such wild times while also seeing how many have failed so miserably. All lessons being learned while keeping closed lips. It’s almost time I get back. I hope ya are ready!

As you grow to be more wise you tend to realize that not everything is worth listening to. You may also acknowledge that not everything you hear should be taken serious.
Where does music draw a line? So many tunes play in and out of radio stations with messages that may be toxic for our ears? But, it’s just a song right?

Music is supposed to hype you up, bring you back to a happy place, bring you to a state of mind.
Music is powerful. It can make or break your day. You can listen to a song and remember a breakup or it can make you feel like your lost one is close.
I wonder if people think of it like that when they chose to create it.
At times I hear things on the radio or on shuffle while listing to a recommended station and think, what was the reason?

My playlist on my way to work this morning is my ‘Nicki’s Flowers’ found on my website link. This song was a sleeper at the time and these days, I just can only to press play.

I was initially going to just make this Nicki songs only but, her features are so hard too! I update my playlists as the time goes on because she just continues to outdo herself, that’s the point right!? You should be you’re own motivation. Focus and determination to remain yourself in times where everyone wants to be someone else.
