I’m not a keyboardist, but…
It’s always fun to let my soul flow through the piano while improvising on something I’m building.
I personally wrote basslines or other parts for almost every one of my past productions. Of course, I used MIDI to quantize and adjust the notes, but most of the work I did was pure improvisation.
