JIMMY DANLADI FOUNDATION: CHAMPIONING YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

In an inspiring move to foster the growth of basketball and contribute to human capital development, the Jimmy Danladi Foundation has taken a significant step forward. The foundation has generously offered to support the upcoming 2-day intensive Basketball Referees and Technical Officials clinic organized by the NBBF. This support includes covering accommodation expenses for referees and technical officials traveling from outside Abuja for three days, as well as sponsoring meals throughout the two-day event.

This clinic is not just a refresher for seasoned officials but also serves as a foundational platform for new and aspiring individuals looking to embark on a career in basketball officiating. It is perfectly timed to prepare participants ahead of the year's basketball season kickoff, ensuring they are well-equipped with the latest rules and best practices.

This is because, basketball is not pensionable and so, does not guarantee retirement benefits. It stops to put food on your table when age lurks in and strength begins to fail you but education retains you in the game and makes you relevant administratively.

Mr. Fanen does not just build basketball scaffolds for athletes, he also sends them to school with no reprisal intentions or indemnity.
