The press conference was completely private, go figure since they just made NJ less transparent when it comes to Government activities limiting OPRA. What does energy independence mean? It's simple, no foreign dependence for any energy sources, only American energy. Offshore wind development depends on foreign owned leases, materials, supplies, and labor. An energy independence policy would destroy offshore wind development.

Tired of staring death in the face? This is only the beginning. Our Federal Government has authorized hundreds of thousands of "takes" (a nice excuse of saying kill the ocean and it's inhabitants.) NOAA and BOEM are in full support. Federal institutions. This is only the beginning of death. No State or lawsuit will stop this runaway shipping barge. The only way to change this madness is with a new Federal energy policy.
People will go to Earth's end to find an excuse to not vote for Trump. Is the ocean and environment important to you? How much do you cherish it all?
