May 2022 treat us well 👀
We ended 2021 with a few shoots that we will share over the next few days. This one, in particular, was in Jonkershoek at Lente's new studio. We loved capturing her lovely space as always.
We are excited to share some more shoots with you and to be back in action🤩
This was definitely a first for us. Arriving at the shoot location and the wind is just blow relentlessly.
It was the second time we had the opportunity to capture this special family and we wanted to do beach photos with the second go. The weather looked stunning and if it weren't for the wind it would've been a "perfect" day.
Nevertheless, even though we were only able to shoot half of the time planned, the shoot turned out more than perfect and we just love how the wind actually caused for capturing intense and special moments.
Mom and dad braved the wind with little Anja, but she was probably the most keen to be in the sand and watch the waves.
A truly unforgettable one 💨

A big THANK YOU to everyone who booked for our Class of 2021 event... as usual the response blew us away, thanks for always suppawting our initiatives so enthusiastically and getting just as excited as we are!
If you haven't booked, the deadline is Wednesday, 27 October.
Suffice to say that we have LOTS of prepawration to do in the weeks ahead to have everyone's personalised bandanas and daycare bags ready for despatch during the last week of November.
As with everything we do, the uniqueness, quality of workmanship and attention to detail will blow you away. By the way, we love seeing our DDM pooches arrive at daycare wearing their 2020 bandanas, it makes us happy and tells us that you like it too
Just to give clarity on the family packages:
Family of two dogs - R200 in total - each dog will receive his own photo, certificate, personalised bandana and the two dogs will share a daycare bag;
Family of three dogs - R250 in total - each dog will receive his own photo, certificate, personalised bandana and the three dogs will share a daycare bag;
If you'd prefer each dog to have his own daycare bag in stead of sharing, the individual fee of R120 as mentioned in the flyer above will apply.
We'll be yappy to hear from you and answer any questions you may have.

October flew by in a flurry of grooming, pawties, pupcakes, fun in the patio sun and poochies living their best life. And boy oh boy do we still have LOTS in store before we reach the end of the year!

We are open Monday to Sunday, 7am to 6pm and we will be open for daycare on Monday, 1 November. We’ll have Fresh Dog Friday on 12 November and Pimp my Pooch on 24 and 25 November.

Just love how these turned out for Anchen's matric farewell we photographed in September 💃
We started at the Bruwer home with the getting-ready and family photos. Then we drove all the way to Jonkershoek to capture Anchen at the pre-function, held for a smaller group of the Bloemhof matric girls.
Being part of the getting-ready at home was so special. Capturing mom's emotional tears and dad's proud smiles.
At Jonkershoek, we experienced sunshine with clouds and the finest bit of rain, but not too much for it to be unpleasant. It created the most beautiful light for photos. It was also the strangest weather we've ever seen/had for a shoot.

JARRED & ADEL | COUPLES SHOOT
This was such a lovely early morning session at the V&A Waterfront.
Jarred & Adel wanted to update their photos together and what a better way to do this than a quick 30-minute session on a quiet Saturday morning with the light falling just right before a warm "summer's" day.
They wanted candid photos as they don't like the idea of being possed and let's be honest it makes most people uncomfortable especially the guys. Luckily we love and specialize in these types of photos so this is exactly what we gave them.
Our jobs were so easy with these two being able to completely focus on each other and their special connection. It made the most beautiful natural photos.
We will definitely return to this spot in the Waterfront as the sun hits just right for those perfect golden hour snaps between the city buildings
