Take note folks, sadly too many phone and tech shops out there are just trying to rip you off and make a quick buck rather than trying to help you! Thankfully our friends over at Computer Clinic in the Galleries Washington are the best out their at what they do! Their customer service is always second to none and they do not try and rip you off

Today we had a Customer in with an IPhone that wasn't charging. He passed his phone over and I plugged the cable in which wasn't sitting in flush. This is a tell tale sign that your port needs cleaning out as the static attracts all the dust and pocket fluff into the port and over time with you putting the charging cable in it pushes all the dirt to compress in the bottom of your port. This causes the connector of the cable to not go right in and therefore the pins don't line up properley to allow a connection to the port. As ALWAYS, I cleaned it out in front of the Guy and as ALWAYS I never charged him a Penny.
The customer was absolutely over the moon and as I passed him his phone back he said to me, I have been to 2 other Phone shops this morning in The Galleries before coming here and both shops told me I needed a New Charging port at a COST OF £65!🤬🤬🤬

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS AS 99.9% OF THE TIME YOUR PORT JUST NEEDS CLEANED OUT. AS WE ALWAYS SAY, DONT TRY AND DO IT YOURSELF AS YOU COULD DAMAGE THE INERNAL PINS, JUST POP IT INTO US AND WE WILL CLEAN IT OUT FOR YOU ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE EVERYTIME!!!

SO MANY SHOPS OUT THERE NOW TELLING PEOPLE THEY NEED A NEW PORT AND TELL THE CUSTOMER TO GO SHOPPING FOR HALF AN HOUR WHILST THEY FIT A NEW PORT AND THE TRUTH IS, THEY JUST CLEAN IT OUT AND TELL THE CUSTOMER THEY'VE REPLACED THE PORT CHARGING THEM A REDICULOUS PRICE.

WE HATE SEEING PEOPLE BEING RIPPED OFF THEY KNOW YOU NEED YOUR PHONE SO THEY KNOW YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE!
PLEASE STOP GIVING THESE SHOPS YOUR MONEY FOR NOTHING!🙏

So tomorrow is A Day for Jo and we are asking ALL of our readers and friends to do us a favour, instead of buying a drink/cuppa/pint for new year to instead please donate that amount to Our fundraiser for Jo Shaw Pyke.

If you know a single person who has gone through a cancer diagnosis and has been to Cancer Connections then they will more than likely have dealt with Jo as she has helped hundreds if not thousands of people who have dealt with cancer.

Sadly Jo now has cancer herself, not only that but a very rare form and she can only get treatment over in the US! The simple fact is no one should be denied treatment due to a postcode! But that’s how it is, so this is where we need to come together and help an incredible person who has helped so many people during their darkest times over the years.
