Taking a stroll in this area itself is extremely peaceful. It may connect you to an indescribable feeling on a spiritual level. I still remember how furious I was at finding out something against my will right before exploring certain spots, and to my surprise I was immediately toned down within a matter of minutes. ✨⁣

It was a long day at Bursa due to several activities hence we got there late and couldn’t witness the tombs from inside.⁣

Right after exchanging some bucks into Turkish Liras at the best rate. 💸😂⁣
Tip: If you’re planning to visit Turkey, take dollars or euros with you. The rate keeps fluctuating on hourly basis; if you’re hawk-eyed like I am, pounce at the prey as soon as it wiggles to the max (😆).⁣
P.S. Shopping isn’t as cheap as perceived by many but then again it totally depends on the season you’re travelling in.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

To all the people who assumed through my stories that I’m against the vaccine and ended up bad-mouthing in my DM couple of months ago, this is for you - in your face!!! 🖐⁣
Yes, I travelled internationally without getting a single shot. No, I didn’t face ANY problem. And YES, I returned to Pakistan safe & healthy.⁣
I do things as my heart says. It’s true I wasn’t prepared to get it done until I felt the motivation, which triggered during my stay in Sweden (thanks to my loved ones). Hence, I received the first dose the same day of my arrival to Pakistan, and another one 3 weeks later.⁣
It’s been quite some time I’ve been fully vaccinated. I am the same as I used to be (fit & fine AlhamdoLillah) and had no reactions other than a minor pain in the arm that vanished within 24 hours.⁣
The only difference it made is the confidence boost to walk around places with no fear (of course with the mask on) and more options to travel. 🤟⁣

This is going to be a long one. Read until the end if you’re a travel freak.⁣
My flight schedule was Malmö - Stockholm - Doha - Karachi with minimal stopovers, of not more than 2.5 hrs max.⁣
A day earlier my flight, I was fast asleep (in Malmö) and felt the buzz of my phone at 7 AM. It was my dad calling and without a 2nd thought, I ignored it thinking “he’s just worried about my departure & would remind me of the entire process AGAIN as if I’m still a baby or travelling for the first time.”⁣
Little did I know what’s next. The 2nd buzz was of a v.n by my travel agent from Pakistan which brought instant shock and a rollercoaster of thoughts as to WHAT DID HE JUST SAY!?⁣
I was very casually informed that my connected flight from Doha to Karachi has been rescheduled after 17 hrs which was initially a layover of only 2.5 hrs. Just by the way, it was approx. 22 hrs & not 17. And yes, a/c to my investigation, the agent knew about the changes 15 days prior to my departure for Sweden. 🙃 ⁣
I’m a wanderlust & proud to be. I’ve been to places like Moola Chotok (Balochistan) where only an adventurous soul would agree to visit. Hence, this was nothing. Right?⁣
I didn’t inform anyone about the changes in my flight; only my dad knew because the guy who booked the tickets contacted him first. The fear of getting my loved ones worried would eat me up inside. Nope, not because I’m a lil baby, but because of the Covid-19 chaos.⁣
Main concern was the PCR Test and its expiry since yet another day was attached with the itinerary.⁣
The 2nd major concern was WTH AM I GOING TO DO AT DOHA AIRPORT FOR 22 HRS? Airport hotel was fully booked and the lounge access is bogus for an entire day.⁣
Anyhoo, thanks to for existing. Things I enjoyed were duty free, meals, & sleep. It was all sorted but damn, since I didn’t wanna be in Karachi, shayad is he wajah se mujhe meri qismat ne ITNA lamba safar rather “suffer” karwaya. 😂⁣
Moral: NEVER book your tickets via a travel agent. ✌️⁣

It’s a wrap! Last day in Sweden and I should have been on the way to the airport but ended up taking a random stroll in the fields with the tripod in my hand. YES! I DIDN’T WANNA LEAVE for obvious reasons. 🤫⁣
At times you don’t have an answer to certain things; the way you feel, your actions, and the steps you take. Time, however may unfold the secrets but the urge must always be to rely on How. You. Exactly. Feel. 🌸⁣

Casually walking down the streets of Lund (pronounced as Lewwwnd), city in Sweden.⁣
It was a cold day in the midst of summer with approx. 15 C; that’s how Sweden’s weather is. 🤷🏻‍♀️⁣
Can you tell I was in pain? No, not the heartbreak “dukhi aatma” kinda pain. 😝
This picture was taken right after my PCR test and it was the most harsh and rough one till date. My left nostril and eye went numb for several minutes. But oh well, let’s put it the desi way: Theeeeek se kiya hoga na test unlike the ones conducted in Pakistan.

Have you ever felt something really strong that hit you hard and you’re clueless what it is? That’s what happened on this very day. It was a day full of events that were unlikely to happen - I’m sure my sick/worried face in the photo is speaking volumes.⁣
Exactly after a week I got all the answers which indeed turned out to be in my favour. Never ignore your intuition, they’re signs from ALLAH (SWT). Have a firm belief that everything happens for a reason and never ever stop praying, even if it’s a tiny Du’a in your heart and see how things unfold on their own.⁣
Also, the bus in the background and my attire compliments the Swedish flag really well. 😆⁣

This image is from the day when I went out in the woods to check out a house under construction with a hope it could be mine soon. Honestly speaking, life in general keeps on throwing its tantrums at us and even people like me start thinking of ways to escape from our normal routine.⁣
Nothing is permanent - for instance, the words poured out of our mouth are mere droplets that further evaporate in the air within seconds (the memory on the contrary remains but that too with time may fade). Hence, do whatever makes you happy TODAY. Think solely about yourself because you never know the intentions of others towards you, unless they truly love you.⁣

Our Eid is incomplete without the congregational prayer. I’m thankful to MH collection for sending the most hyped tie & dye shirt piece my way. The last minute decision of getting it stitched was a sigh of relief. Major thanks to my tailor who despite the fact whatever occasion it is, tends to provide the service within hours. 🤩

Doing it for the feed, serving the gram ‘cause that’s all we can do and watch IG ruin our reach and play with the algorithm. On the other hand, we can only speak and raise our voices ‘cause we must follow the trend; who cares anyway? The voices of those who create propaganda/chaos matter only, isn’t it? Similarly, the transgressors will keep on ‘murdering’ and majority of the world will call it ‘right to defend itself’, laugh it off and ruthlessly exploit the situation.
I can go on and write paragraphs regarding the difference between right and wrong merely on humanitarian grounds i.e keeping my religious belief aside. But I strongly believe that Du’a is ONE thing that WILL work. I urge y’all to remember our brothers and sisters in your prayers.
Thank you PM Imran Khan for marking May 14 in solidarity with our ‘brothers and sisters’. From this day onwards we must promise ourselves to remember the sufferers, whether it’s Kashmiris or Palestinians in our Du’a.

I love food! But I often get questioned on how to maintain thyself whilst eating everything. The answer is in my stories i.e. if you religiously follow ‘em. 💁🏻‍♀️
In short, portion control, adding greens to the menu, exercise and most importantly feeling good about yourself by sustaining inner peace is the only way out.
On the contrary, these worldly pleasures are a lie and even the life we have is borrowed. With that said, let’s learn to be thankful and be happy with the way we’re blessed with.
