Inferno Metal Festival has announced the schedules for the days and Screaming Skull Records's catalog is represented at next year's lineup. We will write a little bit about each band, starting with the legendary Aura Noir!

As banner bearers for black thrash, and one of the originators of the genre, they should need no introduction. A band that simply can't be overlooked at one of the greatest bands from the Norwegian underground.

During the pandemic, they showed their true allegiance to the local underground when they stepped up to be a part of not only the charity compilation tape "Knives Out" that we released to the benefit of Kniven bar in Oslo, but they also participated on the extremely limited lathe-cut 7" with Dødskvad that was also for the benefit of the same bar.

Do not miss out what promises to be a truly legendary gig as they take the Rockefeller stage Saturday at 19:30!

We are pleased to announce the imminent 7" release of Ghetto Ghouls' single "Blizzard of Death" from their debut album "Vigilante Crusaders"!

Blasting crossover that starts off at a billion miles per hour and somehow manages to just go harder and harder until it stops is the recipe that created this band's outstanding sound. The album is deeply rooted in the 80's with "Blizzard of Death" drawing inspiration from James Glickenhaus' 1980 classic "The Exterminator", from which the cover art draws it's inspiration. On side B, you get an exclusive track only available on this 7", so another reason to grab a copy!

We are expecting these to be ready to be sent out to your grubby paws this week, or next week at the latest, so watch this space for updates!

We are happy to announce that this past Sunday at Vaterland, we brought pen to paper with the insane crossover thrashers from Trondheim known as Ghetto Ghouls! Using music and lyrics rooted deep in B-horror and slashers from the 70s and 80s and drawing inspiration from legends such as Exodus and Hirax, they've carved a path through the Norwegian underground with their liveshows that blow the roof of the venue.

We recently released a tape that contains a whopping 29 tracks, containing all their previous music, as well as the newest EP and with this signing, we are announcing that we are following this up with not only a 7" that some of you might have seen the news about before, but also their debut album, "Vigilante Crusaders" on 12" vinyl! And for those that can't wait, the single "Blizzard of Death" is already available on streaming services, so go blast your eardrums with your favourite platform to shorten the wait until these little gems are ready to adorn your turntables.

Today we're happy to announce the long-awaited tape version of Under the Oak's 2022 full-length "Rattus Norvegicus"!

Their debut album "Ripped up by the Roots" blew us away and when the opportunity to release their second album as well, we jumped on it without hesitation. With their signature thrashing sound, Under the Oak has been tearing the Norwegian metal scene a new one and there's no other genre that translates better to tape. Don't miss out on your opportunity to drop this little gem into your boombox and flail around your room like the madman you are!

We're making 50 copies of this with full-body print and we're expecting them to be ready around the end of this month or start of the next.

We're proud to announce the upcoming tape release of Bolverk's sophomore release "Svarte Sekunder" from last year!

Don't be fooled by the band's short discography, it's members are veteran musicians with years of experience, and it shows in the quality of the music. They blend together black, death and thrash seamlessly and the result is one of the Norwegian underground's true hidden gems.

This release is limited to 50 copies and comes on a full-body printed shell, release date is expected to be late September or early October

Available now! Helvitnir and their debut release "Helborn" was released yesterday on all streaming platforms and on tape as a collaboration between Dusktone and ourselves!

With members hailing from the mighty Myronath, Bloodthorn and Mayhem, you know this is black metal of the highest caliber. This demo contains 4 tracks to whet your appetites for their upcoming debut album, which they are currently recording.

A total of 80 tapes exist and won't be reprinted, so grab a copy while you can!

We follow up a Hellstain Productions release with another, and we are proud to bring you the tape version of Kirkebrann's new album "Mot Trellenes Forfall..."!

Kirkebrann is no stranger to our little label, having been on two previous split releases, but this is the first time this black metal juggernaut is alone on a tape, and it's a glorious one. This album is packed with twisted and sacrilegious music from start to finish. These underground masters of the genre have conjured up an album that just needs to be in every real fan of true black metal's collection.

We are making 50 copies, which should be available near the middle of July! More details will follow!
